Just something God laid on my hear Hi all I just wanted to share with you something God laid on my heart. One day I hope to put all my poems in a book and have it published. I hope you enjoy and they bring some inspiration ! Sorrows may come in the night But joy you will find with mornings light The battle sometimes seems too rough The road you travel often times gets rough However, it is in these times of great despair If we look closely, we will see God is there Walking beside us along the way To help us make it through each day Do not worry and do not fear Just call on God he is always near Just get doen on your knees and pray Rest assured God will help you along your way He will always be rigth there To help you through each care So listen to these word my Friend God will be with you until the end Your heavy burden he will help you bare If on him , you will cast your every care Trying Hard Trying hard to win this race Seeking one day to see his face traveling along lifes way needing Gods help everyday Holding tight to his hand Knowing he is a Forever Friend Preacher says hold on tight Prayer will help you win the fight Sorrow he says may come in the night But your joy will come in the morning light And be assured when your tears fall God is watching and saving them all The answer may not always be yea But be assured God knows waht is best So dont give up or go astray just becasue things dont go your way Get on your knees and begin to pray God will help you make it another day. These may not be the best poems you have ever read but God laid these on my heart and I put it on paper and I just wanted to share with all my blog friends. God Bless you All . |

"Get on your knees and begin to pray" I can agree that there is a time for that..., okay, tears endure for the night..., but joy comes in the morning. Ronda, you are not a slave, You are a daughter and an heir. Joy brings praise. Find all the praise you can - and exhault God. You do it already, just not knowing..., Do it on purpose. David was good at it, read Psalms and proclaim the as if you had written them deliberately yourself towards God. Not only are they joy, my sister, but protection and strength. Always Love, Anita

Here's one I just flipped to, "For the Lord, God is a sun and a shield; He bestows favor and honor. No good thing does the Lord withhold from those who walk uprightly." Uprightly is defined as: up-right, up'rit, up-rit', a. [that which is right, or direct, or up] Vertical, perpendicular; erect on one's feet; of inflexible honesty and moral rectitude.--n. Something standing vertical or being vertically arranged. To increase, to come into being of or importance. Well, Ronda, it is clear that if you stand and praise you are not vertically challenged. Now, if we can define perpendicular and rectitude I think you will have a lot to sing praise about, sister. LOL OKAY, I am silly, but to be honest, I used to march through my house and proclaim the words of David as if I had written them myself..., loud and proud. At that time I was known as "snow" and that is eventually where I got my nickname, NEET, I was the only white and had two babies in an all black neighborhood in Atlanta. My aloneness and trust in God caused me to have a community of Ms. Gladys, Aunt Willie, Phyllis, Mr. Ward, Poochie, and a list of others who eventually shared my love for God and exchanged Sunday meals. You see, they heard me proclaim the psalms of David as if my life depended on it and suddenly we were no longer seperate, but together in our hearts in the search for the touch of our Lord. there was no color, Ms. Gladys rocked my babies, while I worked two jobs, and came home to cook dinner and dozed offonly to wake to the cornbread justa burnin'. Ms Gladys done it all before, Phyllis about to have a first chile, and all the others as a menagerie around me to teach me what I did or did not want to be for my life. Reaching out to them was healing for me. Ronda, forgive me for rambling, I do have more exciting stories about humanitarian missions approved by the Pentagon, but they are so bland and never have the flavor of just plain ole life. You keep doing what you do. It is the right thing to do. God is in control and you will be so glad to have savored those precious moments of glitter that the world only pretends to offer you. That glitter on your carpet, that dear, IS gold. Love through Him in the Highest, Your friend, Anita Keep telling me those stories and ticklin' my memory, dear, just what I have been through, no one can tell. Love the glitter, now when my grandson's glitter, I am amazed anyone would ever erase such a beautiful piece of my life. It doesn't last long, and t
