the new order versus the order

It is really easy to get side tracked in life. I see people go from the "Great Commission of Christianity' which is just telling the world of the Goodness of the Good News of Jesus Christ, to feeling like it is our consuming duty to speak continually of the "New World Order". Well in reality it speaks of a One World Government. It is going to happen. Kick, fight and scratch all the way, but it will take place at some point.

However, the best I can do is find good people to vote for, speak my peace regarding what is going on and fight the good fight in that way. I am no match for the police, the Military Reserves or the Military. This is not a Revolutionary time where it is musket against musket and knife against knife. I don't have tanks, I do not have anything that can compare to what i would be facing. I do not even have 5 people that would help. I see alot of loud mouths in blogland who proclaim a fight to the death and well...would you be remembered as a Patriot or Domestic terrorist, it does not matter. You will be dead and life will go on.

Conspiracies? I am sure they go on. But at the same time my life is owned by someone that paid the price of his life for it. Jesus. Am I perfect? Heck no. But in God's eyes I am because of what Jesus did. Did he call me to do everything possible to stop this New World order that scripture says will happen? I am called to speak truth. But what is the truth? It is Jesus and the finished complete work of the cross. The New Covenant of grace which is entered in by faith in Jesus Christ.

Just who do we think we are as Christians? Many people suffered through persecution, even to death in many other countries. Somehow we think we are above that ever happening to us in our lifetime. We think it can not happen in America. What do we have that to base it on? God says it rains on the just and the unjust.

I see so many people caught up in conspiracies and hero worship. They lose focus of what it is all about. Relationship with the heavenly father who did alot so that we could have this. Something that is designed forever and not temporal. We have elections of some sort every few years here in America. The majority of the people do not even vote. Yet we get mad at these very elected people and their agendas. Thats not bad, justice should be important. However real balance is found in looking around the world and realizing we live in an unjust world.

Paul said that if any man preach a Gospel other than what he preached in Christ, redemption and abiding in Jesus, then let him be accursed. Paul not only understood the Gospel, he realized that it was the single most important decision a person in this lifetime could make. Its simple. It is for everyone. It is not rocket science and sadly it is not been taught in most churches today. Instead we live in the unfortunate realm of Jesus plus something else.

When we start looking at things such as a New World Order, its easy to think we see it every turn. But is that abiding in Christ and allowing him to live through you? No. He said to render unto Cesar's what is Cesar's...and unto Gods' what is God's. What does that mean? Love God with all your heart and all your mind and all your soul. It says we are new creatures. Tells us we are in this world but not of it. Says we have the mind of Christ and that our heart of stone has been replaced with a heart of flesh. Yet we are called to share the great news of Jesus...and many get caught up in diversions.

God works in many subtle ways because he gave us a will of our own. Do you not think Satan works in subtle ways as well. He just puts the diversions out there and we chose what we are going to do with it. he does nt "make us do anything.

Blessings

we "can" have peace in Jesus IF we enter into his rest found in the finished work of Christ
