Self Righteous and Big Church Now that I have come to the place of "who cares", I will speak my mind even more. This place has long been a place where good things go ignored and drama and warm and fuzzies are drawn out. I have read, over the years many very good posts that just seem to go over peoples heads and they ignore them. There have been many people say many things that were good and just ignored. Many heart felt beautiful thoughts. Then there has been the constant misrepresentation of things. The sensationalism and the pure baloney. You know, this is a dating site. I wonder what the success rate of this place is once two people attempt a relationship? I would venture less than 1%. What is the reason? No one wants to let go of the past and be healed. Very few put their best foot forward. Are we in halfway decent shape? Do we care? or do we have this long list of what we think our suitor should be without first looking at our own. I have in the past listed my shortcomings. I am not going to be part of a little clique that just does its thing. I am however at peace in my life. I will not take the short route anymore and try to appease people in what I say. Some wonder why I put up information about the Cult the SDA. I put it up because someone on here inundates the place constantly with it when it is not a Christian Doctrine at all. Instead it is the opposite if you understand the New Covenant at all. Is that popular to do? I am sure it isn't. But being popular, or telling the truth? I would rather tell the truth and let the chips fall where they may. Personally I think there are a lot of back stabbers here. Instead of sustenance they play to popularity. God forbid anyone fall out of the favor of their clique. I am 52 years old. I know what I believe and why I believe it. I spend a lot of time studying something before I talk about it. Thats why I have little tolerance for ignorance. I also do not appreciate condescending ignorant malarkey. Thats what happened with Jean Maxwell. Thats why I told the truth. Many would say that you are quite capable of determining for yourself. Maybe, maybe not. Most seem happy with their head in the sand. Most think any criticism is unfair. But I will say this, if someone comes after me with baloney, I will come back with facts and that is what I did. The latest episode came with the Mia and Ken thing back in september. All I was concerned about was Mia's well being. The complete idiots like Danny got involved when they knew nothing of what was going on. To me this was a very serious situation. One that later on Mia called and said my instincts of what was going on was dead on and she asked me to forgive her, which she didn't need any forgiveness because she is/was my friend. There have been a lot of times when Jean said she was sorry too. I doubt this happens again because I responded to her religious condescending attitude. So now I am self righteous for doing so? No I am just fed up with "stupid". I don't hold anything against her, but I am sick of someone who has made such a mess of their life for the last 4 years thinking she has a clue about anyone else. I have seen her attack false doctrine on here and a week later apologize for it after saying it was God's will to do it in the first place. Schitzo actions. Be yourself. be true and don't vacillate all the time. It only shows that you didn't really believe it in the first place, or you cant stand being unpopular. Me? I don't care if you like me. You want to know why? Because I want to be appreciated by people who have character, dignity and don't play to the populace but to the search of truth. People are always looking for the easy road. The well traveled road. That road is not God's road. There is a reason everyone goes that way. Yeah I am a little put off. Just tired of stupid.

Kimmm I live in the real world. The evils of socialism fight against Christianity. I suppose God doesnt care he just signed a bill to pay for not only the murder of babies here in america but also in other countries, The fact he surrounds himself with people of bad character and that he places himself above the law of the land.

Dennis this is the best you have written in a while. I missed ya Bro. Jesus wasn't popular either, but he spoke the truth. The truth will always set us free! I believe that the SDA church is a cult as well, but some of my closest friends are SDA's. I love them and know that they are lost, but they are good people with good hearts that are decieved by a doctorine that speaks to them. Why are they lost? I don't know, but look at so many disfunctional baptist's, Anglican's, pentecostal christians out there!!!! Even those who follow the true teachings have alot of growth and deep change in their hearts. This is where I feel that we have to speak the truth, but not fall into judgement. We agree to dissagree as it gets us no where. They genuinely love the Lord and serve Him and their families. Sometimes I think that you can be critical, but I understand mostly where you are coming from. I like the truth, straight between the eyeballs. I don't like you because you are popular, but rather I like you beacuse I see your heart and you have a heart for the truth. Good to see you again.
