do you believe this statement by John McArthur?

do you think its true?

"Salvation isn't the result of an intellectual exercise. It comes from a life lived in obedience and service to Christ as revealed in the Scripture; it's the fruit of actions, not intentions. There's no room for passive spectators: words without actions are empty and futile...The life we live, not the words we speak, determines our eternal destiny" (Hard to Believe, p. 93).

If one is really born again then they will have God's fruit. Many claim to know the Lord but in works they deny him. God's nature in the Christian is manifest through his beloved. Those trying to work for salvation don't have salvation. The holy Ghost is our earnest down payment of our inheritance in Christ. Without the born again experience one is only a religious person with a form of godliness but no power to perform...they are fakes! Merry Christmas Dennis!

Isaiah 42:8 " I am the Lord; that is my name! And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images."
