The ferrocious velocity of Religiosity If Someone needed God....needed to be saved I think Most people would tell them that Jesus died for them and that their sin would be forgiven and God would live inside of them and they would be with him forever. Is that enough? That is where are the dirt of mans' Christianity comes flying in at them. What happens? When we first are born again we have this overwhelming peace and a feeling of comming home for that very first time. Everything makes sense then and all we want is intimate fellowship with this God that was always waiting on us to say here I am Daddy! Please accept me! We do live in a temporary shell and in a temporary place here on earth. But people who believe tend to put out all of these flypaper traps that not only stick to the young believer but it also attaches to them laws that were for the old covenant and not the New One that Christians live in. Jews lived in the Old one and gentiles or non-jews did not.It was nout our world. The Young believer is told you HAVE to be in a church. The believers are the church and not a building or a organization. The Young believer is given a basic outline of what christians should not do anymore They are given a bible usually or in some cases goes with a friend to get one. Many times it is a translation that really loses what is being said. They usually are never told what the bible is about so they have a muddled view that all scriptures apply to their life today. So they have no real understanding of the Old Covenant and how it was only for the Jews. The gentiles before Jesus was glorified had no hope. So they apply all of the old covenant to them that has little to do with the new Covenant of Christ. They do not realize God gave all of those dead gentiles a chance to be with him when Jesus preached to them after he was crucified...so God was faithful and just to all people. They are not told that Grace is how they are saved and it is free. Grace sustains you and not your performance. They do sometimes call it Grace but what they interpet to be is not Grace but a performance based salvation which is not true New believers, usually are not shown how to hear privately from the Holy Spirit, but are indoctrined to hear from a mouthpiece or read a bunch of books. They are told of gifting and talents that are there from God, but then they are shown that some are supposedly less than others when actually the only meaning of that is that some are for personal edification and some are for edifying a group of believers that are gathered with perhaps some non believers that are curious about Jesus Christ. These poor young believers are also sometimes taught that some of these gifts were only meant for a certain time and that has passed. So that means things given by God for a purpose are wasted because they are lied to by saying they no longer exist. How sad because the truth is The Holy Spirit and the gifts were sent to help us until Jesus returns. That is when we will no longer need them. They will pass away when Jesus returns for his bride. Religiocity and at a mind boggling Velocity tries to destroy a believer with a destructive ferrocity. Religiocity loves to throw the old Law with a note that says...for God to Love you you have to live up to this. You have to obey this. We do not even do that with our own if we have any parenting skills and love at all for our . The New Covenant offers no secrets, there is none. But The Religious New Covenant is man made where you adhere or burn. I believe in the Jesus covenat of Grace. Where it says I am forgiven of all sin, past presnt and some future sin that may be on my mind. Forgiven. Not because I deserve it. It is just how it is and my heiritage. I know that I get all the redo's I need in life because he is not about Chances.He is about life Paul said we can do anything we want but not all things are profitable. When that Veil torn forever, we can now go before God because of Jesus. Side by side relationshipc with God and the Vertical one has been cast into the sea. All of the believers needs are met according to his riches and Glory We are healed His goodness and his kindness bring us to repentence when we are wrong about something. This does not mean a wrong is a sin counted against us because nothing can seperate a believer from God the word says. But sin does seperate man from God if that man is a man who has yet to receive salvation in the first place......key word...yet to receive Paul said and I say for the 10000th time....It is no Longer paul that Lives but Jesus Christ that Lives through Paul Jesus said he can do nothing apart from the Father and it is the Father doing all things through him. So if Jesus let God and Paul in turn let Jesus...and we are men like Paul...what is our Christian walk supposed to be? Jesus living through us. This means his yoke instead of ours. It means letting go to your wants and desires and embracing his wants and desires and letting him fulfill that in your life. That is it. Its not predicated on the religiocity of how much money you may give. It is not about how good you can be because the word says there is non good but God. All I need is Jesus Christ. My life in him is best served if I understand what my heiritage is in the finished work of the Cross and allow him to live through me. I dont need a preacher, teacher or a book. I have the same Holy Spirit living in me and sent to me to comfort me and teach me all things as any person that believes has. All I will ever share with a person is the finished work of the cross and any help regarding growing in intimacy with the Holy Spirit. Anything else is unecessary. |
