Kissing the 401K good-bye

Postal Service Looks To Cut 40,000 Jobs In First Layoff In History

Things are not getting any better, not with the USPS looking to have their first layoff in history. Look for postage prices to go up even though they have "maxed" their limits.

"We lost 2 billion dollars and like any other business we have to stay afloat." And to keep from sinking, the United States Postal Service is considering cutting thousands of jobs nationwide. Lavelle Pepper with the post office in Shreveport says they too are feeling the effects of the same disease hitting the country... A struggling economy. "We employ about 685,000 people. If we do layoffs it would include clerks, carriers, mail handlers across all crafts."

With all the bail outs, congress will gladly pass an allowance to raise stamp prices. Same thing happened during the Weimar Republic and the final cost of a stamps rose to several million marks each. That is like the cost of stamp here in the US costing several million dollars.

Gas prices and such are being falsely held down due to the fed pumping so much paper cash into the system. China and others are also following suit.

Once we have a new president put into office, I believe we will see a decline in the economy again and beginning the drastic rises and falls of the market like we saw several weeks ago.

When that takes place, we will see final rate cuts to 0% and more cash poured in.

This will suffice for a season and then the cycle will start again, but without the ability to reduce rates; all that the feds will be able to do is pump more cash into the system. The vicious circle will begin and the outcome will most likely be hyperinflation.

I encourage you to dig into your history books and start reading about the Weimar Republic and other economies that suffered loss during economic upheavals. Most were due to hyperinflation from a fiat currency.

If you have not gotten these books yet, I recommend you getting them ASAP and start reading...

Guide To Investing in Gold and Silver By Michael Maloney

Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad's Prophecy

Maloney's book goes into quite a bit of the history behind fiat currencies and is a very easy read.

I believe that once Obama is in office, like with any president, all the old is taken out and new is brought in. The nation may go through a short "honeymoon" phase but once that is over, I believe that we will see a down turn in the economy again.

It has been projected that we will see DOW numbers ranging from lows to 2500 and highs all the way up to 15000.

If this does in fact take place, you will see IRAs, 401Ks, savings and retirements drastically eroded. You couple that with hyperinflation and those savings will be completely wiped out.

Again, I point to history and man constantly repeating himself. He has done this before; it is very likely we will see him do it again.

Ecc 1:9 (KJV) The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

Being students of Bible Prophecy we know that the world needs to be in a position to bow down to one man and accept his rule. We are seeing the foundations for that man's rule rapidly being laid.

Sooooooooo so sad first of all that so many have been led astray from God and God's greater plan!!!

And yep.....it's got to take something quite drastic for people to be once again humbled in the presence of our Lord!!! Nothing else seems to work!!! God's looking for our deserved attention!!
