went to Obama rally last night

My friend Will made some signs regarding issues that should be being considered and he asked Cory and I to go with him. We really did not want to go, but we also didnt want him to go alone.

Well when we got there about 745pm there were long lines etc. He decided not to hold up the signs, but just decided to walk around and listen to what the people were saying. There were chants here and there, but nothing that picked up and amounted to anything. They chanted change and they chanted some other goofy thing.

At the end of the evening we noticed something that made us sad. There were no discussions going on about the real issues befalling this country. The people that were at this rally were not the people that looked sucessful in life. I walked away thinking that yes people have a right to vote, but they have a responsibility to educate themselves a little more and actually understand how things work and what this country was all about when it was formed.

When we went to the Bush Rally in Daytona in 2004, the people that went to that event were all nice. They were speaking all over the place in intelligent conversations regarding the issues. No....this is not saying because I may have agreed with them that it was intelligent. Its the fact they discussed the interworkings of how things come into play.

Instead we herd a few people chanting "Yes we can". ....Yes we can what people? Redistribute from the wealthy who have earned what they have to many people who havent worked a day in their lives. Thats marxism people. Something many of our anscestors died for this country to keep out of our country.

Amen! I wrote that it is communism on dunks blog! You are right. Marxism absolutely. And my grandfather fought against it, my dad, my brother, and gave his life. Now I am too doing all I can against it too. I find it interesting, but not strange. I knew it was not over. Thanks for your blog. And yes many are just voting for Obama because they like him. He's charismatic. Blessings, Robin

Yes he is charismatic, but all he does is make bold promises when he really is not very bright to be honest

I love how wealth distrubution for corporations under the Bush administration is a "bailout" but under Obama it's "Marxist." lol.

Taxpayer money is being shelled out and REDISTRIBUTED left and right. Why are you not calling Bush a commie?

Well Bush does notv write laws. If you wer4e being intellectually honest about your statement you would also note that he warned the banks several times before it hot to this.

The plan that led to the demise was pushed by the democrats and that is a fact. As a matter of fact, right now they are pressuring the banks to put this money into use and not sit on it.

what did they discuss? Things being given to them? Just curious. They have one lady on tape that actually believes they dont have to worry about their mortgage or gas in their car. Teah he can do that. Geez
