The True Colors of Colin Powell Ten years ago the republicans and the democrats were jockeying to position themselves to have Colin Powell join their party. Powell was well looked upon for Military service. From the get go something did not sit well with me about him. Snake in the grass kept coming to mind. My instincts told me to never trust this guy. Usually when the media is in love with you, something is not as it should be. I have often wondered if he were not black if he would have recieved the attention. When President Bush added him, U was thinking big mistake. The President tried hard to bridge, which he was sucessful in Texas. Colin Powell was fired even before the second term began for his incompetence. Now he comes out and endorses Obama over McCain despite McCain having been a war hero and eons upon eons of more experience. Not to mention Obama's activities which included being a strong part of Acorn which promotes voter fraud and being in a racist church for 20 years which has to make him a racist and being on a board and having an ongoing work regarding socialist-marxist curriculium in American schools with William Ayers, known Terrorist also Tony Rezco and corruption in his own city of Chicago Colin you are indeed a fool and phony as I have always known in my heart. |

Viewed from Australia, I have a great respect for Colin Powell. I view him as a honorable man who sought to serve his country as well as he possibly could. I found it very telling that when President Bush and his cabinet was encouraging the country (and the international community) to invade Iraq it was the only man with senior military experience who showed restraint, to not rush into the war. It was a mistake by Bush to replace a man who could think and was prepared to state a contrary position, made his cabinet lack perspective and gave a false impression that all was well. His current decision to express support for Barak Obama as US President again shows him to be prepared to think for himself and do what he believes is best for his country. Whether you agree with him or not I think it unkind - at least - to doubt his sincerity. Regards

Name what he has accomplished or championed. Go ahead I will be waiting forever. What about his vast corruption in Chicago with Rezco Colin Powell if he were not black would be a peon nobody. Steve.... I am not a republican I am a conservative. Colin Powell is not an American if he can uphold a man who refuses to show his birth certificate. Hates whites. ...why even bother with you. Quite honestly the only reason you could even pull for an Obama with his totally corrupty background and zero accomplishments is if you were a racist. Thats what I will have to believe.
