Every Year like Clockwork Every Year we have them coming out of the woodwork like clockwork. So called Prophetic utterances regarding either extreme demises or "God"s judgement on our country or this is the Year that blessings fall all over you. This is Your Year! What exactly does being a Christian protect you from? We all die. We all get sick. All of us have good things and bad things happen, as thus is life. But the Good News he is with us through all things. The Good news is that with faith yes he will bless our efforts. We are called to be a branch. Branches are part of the tree but they are not the whole tree. They arent even life giving aspects of the tree. The life comes from the main body of the tree and the roots which are Christ. He gives life to us. We in turn can give that life to the world. |

Susan agree! Being a Christian isn't a 'get out of jail free' pass, that's for sure! I get so annoyed by these so-called Prophets! Let's concentrate on living the life we are called to in scripture and recognize that the rain falls on the just and unjust alike. That kingdoms rise and fall at HIS command. That our calling is to love one another as Christ loved us. The rest will take care of itself. Ok, I'll step down off my soap box now Dennis Its good to see you Susan and I agree...Life is much simpler than we wish to make it in our minds

AMEN!! It can definitely be annoying! The endless End Times prophecies and discussions! While interesting (and also distracting), much of it is beyond our understanding, and meant to be so. Of course it's coming, He told us so!! It's coming whether a "nation" comes back to Him or not. All this stockpiling and preparing for anarchy in the streets I just cannot fathom - why would I do that or want to do that? I expect to be with HIM in that moment!! It will be glorious!! Bring it on, Lord!! In the meantime, being ready in the here and now, this moment, every moment, loving and acting to bring the lost to Him is our mission. Without a shadow of a doubt He will take care of the rest, I trust Him completely! Thank You Wen! Kool Pic

I have been gone alot looking for work...have a small job tommorrow and hoping it leads to a big one. Have a nice one on the burner and hope it works out.
