how does it make you feel? How does it make you feel when someone you thought was on the up and up turns out to be a crook? What goes through your mind in regards to the future and how you might look at a group, person or organization? |

Dennis, the devil try's to get the foot hold of offense, to poisen my out look on life. I am being taught  That just because one cause's and hurt is is not the entire speces.lol.We all see thou the past's of or lives. God can renew our eyes, if we can get out of His way. I have had quite a few of those already and have found that 1. asking questions and making logical deductions and 2. comparing statements with the word of God has been pretty good. BUT it is disappointing never-the-less..

Never put your trust in any man...even Paul did not trust his own flesh...the nature of man is to sin...that is the natural inclination of the carnal unregenerated man so why does it surprise you? Isaiah 42:8 " I am the Lord; that is my name! And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images."

My favorite part is the handshake and a smile as they look in your eyes....A lot of crooks know and study body language and the right words to say...They freak me out!...GBY ‘HE will rule them with an iron scepter.’... Beth: It makes me very sad. It brings a great truth that people are not who they say they are; however, change is possible through the power of Jesus Christ. I can understand how you feel about that and what transpired at your fellowship. You just have to keep perservering as I know you are

Debee: I have never considered myself to be cynical, but perhaps I need to re-examine I agree with Sweethoney... I have let myself down, lied to myself etc etc in the past (hindsight is always the best view) As always, very good input from you Huggz

The heart is desperately wicked without Jesus Christ and so when people act as their sin nature dictates, it does not surprise me, sickens me yes, but I am a realist and so I accept what is....however as a realist I know that my Lord is coming soon! Imagine marrying someone like that? Hmmmm very humiliating and embarrasing. The Lord is good and faithful to those who love and trust Him. Blessings The body of Christ is like a patchwork quilt! All stitched together with God's love.
