"Excuse Me, while I go have a break-down" by Abby Moore All the glory belongs to God and God alone!I was facing situations one right "with" the other as if in a Job position. Feeling like I was going insane and wondering if God even loved me any more. I began to try and figure out if it was something I did recently, in the past or even long forgotten by myself; and now God was punishing me for past or forgotten sins. I've gone through a period of depression and going to church was routine as opposed to anticipated and welcome. Then, one afternoon, while I was sitting in the fellowship area of our church, a word of comfort came to me via Gods Spirit, and He spoke to me "Excuse me, while I go have a break down!" Was I suprised? Of course. But then God took me to some scriptures of which I have not room nor time to go through, but the most compelling one was when David came home from war and he and his men possessed had been taken captive and the same men which fought with him now wanted to kill him! But David encouraged himself in the Lord only after... He got off by himself and it was just he and the Lord. David had his break-down with God and came up an overcomer and so I am the same!! |

Getting alone with God...the only thing that truly restores us. It is good to listen to others, get godly counsel, but in the end it is His very presence that makes us whole, replenishes us and renews us. He is no fool if he should choose to lose the things he cannot keep to gain what he can never lose.....Jim Elliott Deena
