Man did I get sunburnt today

I went over to South Daytona Beach, down at Ponce Inlet. It is about a mile or so from the Lighthouse. There is a little park that you can park at. Its free. There are restrooms etc there and a shower for when you leave. Picnic area as well.

I was in the water for 2 1/2 hours body surfing. I had not done this for years. It is great exercise fighting the waves. I did take a huge hit for it. My picture there tells the tale of the tape. Sun 1, Dennis 0

It was great!

OOPPS... I'm with Pen - as an Aussie too... Slip Slop Slap... Body surfing is great, haven't done that in years either - all that sun, sand and surf wonderful...

Sorry but where's your face??? I just see a red T shirt with blond around it!!!

Glad you enjoyed it all.

One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to inquire in His temple. Psalm 27:4

Glad you had a great time...but...here comes the medical advice: please wear sunscreen (slip, slop, slap will have to remember that)...sun causes skin cancer, something I see in the office all the time...and WRINKLES!! And get you some sunglasses...it can also contribute to macular degeneration. But on the flip side it is great you did something so freeing and so fun (just use the sunscreen next time...SPF 45 or greater, waterproof, and reapply often!)

well actually for 52 I have few wrinkles. I work outside in the field I am presently in. I have bever had any problems. I can carry a tan, but I also pretty much burn a lot.

I appreciate your concern. Its just how I have always lived my life
