When did Christianity begin?

When did Christianity begin?
When God Created mankind to Fellowship with him.
When Moses gave the ten Commandments
When Jesus Rose from the dead after atonement
When Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary
Always was present

The day the Holy Spirit was giving on Pentecost.

You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.

I agree with Tom45, the Church age actually began on Pentecost because that is when the Holy Spirit came to dwell in the hearts of believers permanently. This was all made possible by the Cross. Before Jesus went to the Cross, the Holy Spirit only abode with men on a temporary basis because the Lord had not yet gone to the Cross to sacrifice Himself for our sins. After Jesus ascended to the Father, the Disciples were to wait at Jerusalem for the "Promise of the Father." That Promise was fulfilled at Pentecost and the Church was born. Peter stood up to deliver the inaugural Message of the Church that day, starting in Acts chapter 2 verse 14.

The correct answer is C

The New Covenant began when the atonement was made

Christianity is a covenant between God and man. Pentecost did not happen right after that.
