Should Ministries books be open?

Ministries in America are tax exempt. Should their books be public knowledge?
Yes since they are under a tax free umbrella
No it is an invasion

To require reporting is the first step to regulation.
Regulation is control.
Government control of religion would be an abrogation of our first amendment rights under the constitution.

We are what we believe we are.

So, disclosure should be voluntary.

Having said that, non disclosure should be public knowledge too!

it should be open to the public because they have placed themselves in a situation under the government for persk. Opening the books shows if they are up on the level in what they do with monies

They are already under regulations by accepting their tax free status.
