Liberals are against the Death Penalty, but for abortion? This is more of an observation on just how backwards liberal thinking really is; however, I felt compelled to add it to the list. How can you support the taking of an innocent life and be opposed to taking the life of someone that has committed acts of evil? Those on death row have hurt innocent people, families, and society. What acts has an unborn committed to deserve the fate of being aborted. This is a perfect example of how liberals are on the wrong side of issues. Liberals will claim that abortion is a right to privacy issue - the so called, "it is my body and I can do with it what I wish". Well- a person cannot do whatever they wish with their body if it effects me. You cannot take your fist (which is part of your body) and punch me in the face. A person has the right to privacy in their home, but that does not extend to activities which are illegal. Your rights end where my rights begin. A heart beats at less than 4 weeks. Isn't a heart beat the final determination of death. Why should a heart beat not be the final determination of life? Thomas George |

There is a substantial difference, a bright line, if you will between the egg and sperm and the fertilized egg. The combination of genetic material produces a unique invididual. while some may argue about the age of viablity, conception is the only real obvious choice for our begining. Both sides of the debate have learned that in order to create the image they desire, they must control the terminology used to decsribe the ideas involved. If you are "pro-choice" this paints you as one who stands up for the rights of the individual to determine his or her own path. What could be wrong with that? What they are really argung for is the preservation of the right to terminate another human life for what is overwhemingly a matter of convenience. The percentage of pregnancies that are terminated to preserve the life or health of the mother is very, very small. They argue, in reality, for the right to be heedless of the consequences of unprotected sex. They argue for the right to do whatever they want with their own body, and in so doing, must deny the personhood of the one they kill. Of course to point this out makes one an extremist. It makes one a fanatic. Those who opposed slavery were once reviled as extremists. We now see them as the ones who were right about the issue first.

Supporting Choice is supporting abortion. Am I missing something here. Democrats also are socialists in this day and age and at the top of their party, Edwards, Obama and Clinton are all lining up with what communists are. They tell the ignorant that the rich are somehow their enemy. Far from the truth.The republicans who are capitalists help create jobs because they do not place restrictions on peoples ability to do well. When you do restrict, you have a Michigan. Their legislature against their bussinesses and taxation have killed that state.

Sex causes a person to be formed in some occasions. Proper responsibility is what we speak for. Use contraceptives. More than just a propolaptic.
