EMANCIPATED...

from the WORLD... even becoming a stranger to my parents and my own ... I strive to "SEPERATE" myself from the "WORLD" and the more of myself I surrender to CHRIST the more ABUNDANCE of JOY I feel in my HEART... FREEDOM glorious, wonderful FREEDOM..

Dennis I said EMANCIPATED from the WORLD, I never said emancipated from my parents or my children....

well its entitled emancipated

then you mention growing away from your parents and children. Is that a good thing? Having clearity and definition is good. But we are called to abide in Christ, meaning him living through us. To me that is just a better way to love our family and not be estranged from it.

God is all about relationships.

just my opinion

Yes dear one it is entitled "EMANCIPATION" but the dots that follow indicate there is more to the title and if you open it up .... well you get me huh? anyway if it seems like I am saying that I GREW away from my parents and my children, NOPE, that is not what I mean, THEY have GROWN away from me in certain aspects of our LIVES... I REFUSE to conform to THIER traditional ways nor am I willing to COMPROMISE the TRUTHS that GOD has set before me. The thing here Dennis is that our lifestyles should show that CHRIST does ABIDE in us, therefore SEPERATING us from the world and some people even feel "CONVICTION" just being around us, even though a single word has not come out of our mouths...

I will let you in on a little story. And you know I love you Pricilla. 15 years ago when my son was 10 we used to go to the Sports bars and watch the Green Bay Packers play. I developed some friendships with other fans as Chi-Chi's was used just to watch that team as a former player owned the franchise.

Many times many people would ask if they could buy me a beer. I dont drink. Not because it is a big deal to me. I just see no sense in doing something I cand stand. So I would always thank them and turn it down. One day Cory spoke for me as he said, my daddy doesnt drink.

Well, what is the story here? He learned that you can go and be with people in a social gathering and you dont have to do what they are dong to be accepted.
