if you are walking in love for the homeless, why are you not walking in lobe for christians? Just a question. Not an indictment. Everyones heart or calling is not in the same place.

Priscilla-
God's patience and refining those who belong to Him. Christians are bombarded by satan worse, much worse than those who do not know God yet. Christians need prayers and uplifting encouragement for the spiritual warfare that is persistent with them. All that really matters is that Jesus shed His blood on the cross for EVERYONE.
You use to read and write a lot of Oswald Chambers "My Utmost From His Highest." This writing is truly inspired of God, just as the Bible is. I pray for you daily Priscilla. I pray you just now the Love, the Joy and the Hope that the Lord can fill your heart with.

Your friend in Christ, Sandra

I think sometimes I give non-Christians more of a break than Christians in some ways. I think it's because I spent so much of my life as a non-Christian and I know how much I felt like hopeless, worthless unloveable scum back then.

However, now as a Christian I am certainly not perfect...nowhere near in fact, but I am saved. I am sure I am just as bad as the rest because I expect Christians as a whole to have more compassion for others. I can understand non-Christians not having as much compassion because they haven't realized His compassion for each of us.

I struggle with understanding why those who have felt His touch and saving mercy are not very compassionate. I guess it's because we are all in different places within our walks.

I despise the self righteous arrogant attitude of others... but also I despise it most when I see it in myself.

I know from my life before I came to Christ, I thought Christians were nothing but judgemental. But I hadn't met Jesus yet. I found that coming to Him didn't mean I had to follow them but follow Him! Otherwise, I would have turned away forever.

I am still very much a work in progress but He is indeed working on me. I am sure there are just a lot of us who are still under construction out there.

Hang in there Priscilla. I'll be praying for you and praying for myself as well. You have given me a great deal of food for thought as I ponder whether I, in my every day life, am being as good of a person that I should and can be and if my silent (and not so silent)witness is truly befitting of someone who claims to follow Jesus.

God bless you girl and it's good to see you blogging again!

Christians are just sinners saved by grace....

Isaiah 42:8 " I am the Lord; that is my name! And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images."
