Who Is An Addict This is what is written on this Most of us do not have to think twice on this question. We Know. Our whole life and thinking was centered in drugs or alcohol in one form or another. The getting and using and finding ways and means to get more. We lived to use and used to live. Very simply, an addict is a man or woman whos life is controlled by drugs, We are a people on the grip of a continuong a progressive illnesswhos ends are always the same of we dont stop. Jails, institutions and death. good news, jesus is the way, the truth and the Life and I can do all things through him who strengens me. For whom the sets free is free indeed. Interesting note: Many of the pastors I have had the pleasure of hearing or knowing, in my church Calvary Chapel, have had battles with addiction as I have. A broad range from alcohol, drugs, pornography or other worldly addictions. It seems than sin in general is addictive. God seems to use those of that have encountered these trials quite frequently. I don't believe for a minute that it is coincidental. I believe He uses those of us than have come from the very bottom of the pit to share and witness about the grace of God and His unconditional love as He accepts us even with our short comings. Anyway just my thoughts about being in the very trenches of the flesh. -T Born Again Christians only need to chew, It's those left behind that have to swallow it.
