What do you see when you look at me? What do you see when you look at me? Is it my weakness as I try to handle things on my own Or His strength that reminds me that I'm never alone. All my bumps and bruises from falling down Or His out stretched hand of mercy that picks me up and puts me back on solid ground. What do you see when you look at me? Do you see the fear and doubt that tries to destroy me in the night Or His compassion as He wraps His arms around me and holds me tight. It is all my failed attempts to be who I think I should be Or His grace that tells me I am perfect just the way He made me. I see my friend, a beautiful woman of God, with the heart of a poet, song writer, and novel writer, who is patently waiting, and praying for an end to her season of lonliness and dispair. To very soon at least meet the one of her destiny, knowing they will compliment and complete each other in that which God has called them both to do. One, with a yearning and overwhelming desire to write her own true life love story as it happens. Yet she has her own doubts if her writing ability will do justice to the womderful and torid romance God has in store for her. And something I've not said before. You have an incredible resemblence to a woman I worked with and had a crush on over 20 years ago. She was not a believer then, but she is now, and we have talked and met a few times.
