I am honest to a fault Don't ask me the question if you don't want a truthful answer. I care, I love, and if I ever met the right guy I just know we would have so much fun growing old together. I believe love takes time at this age & stage of life. We have experienced things, relationships, that at 20 years old, you just haven't. We love, (we learn from mistakes), & live. Is there a man out there that has read "The Way of The Superior Man?" or "The Road Less Traveled?" Things I look for & expect in someone I want to love..are things he can expect from me. Does he have/had a good relationship w/his mom/dad (esp. his mom). If divorced, does he have a working relationship with his 's mother (or achieved it over the years)? Does he respect women? Love his siblings? I have been alone for a while, by choice, raising my sons. It's not that I would not have liked to have been married, it's just that I never met the right person. I don't need a man to make me happy, I have our lord Jesus. If I get married again (and I hope I do), it's for keeps. I don't meet a man & think "How can I change him" so I am hoping the right man will not want to change me. We will compromise, share feelings & then communicate & work things out. Some things at this stage of life are 'negotiable' some things are not. I love a man who knows his wine, but don't pick me if you have a drinking problem & have not dealt with it. You know in your heart whether you do or don't. I'm not perfect,no one is. I am looking for a man who will treat me like the lady I am, open doors for me, a gentleman. I believe in Chemistry, it is a must have for me. If the chemistry happens, the rest should not be difficult. Dr. Phil says men fall in love with their eyes...women fall in love with their minds. I believe at this stage of life you have to start slow...and build...it's not easy to fit into someone's life who has a life already....I just have to believe that it is possible. I just know the right man is out there somewhere, my lover, my best friend. If I don't meet him, then I guess God has other plans for me as I am happy now...just want to share life with someone special.
My Ideal Person
I am looking for an honest, real, handsome successful man. Maybe he loves his job, busy with his job but lacks the time to look for a relationship. I always dreamed of building a business with the man I love. How cool it would be if you owned a business and I could work for you! I have many talents! The man I want doesn't waste time in bars 'hoping' to hook up with someone. He has too much integrity. Nor would he date a woman that wastes time in bars. Maybe he is looking for a down to earth, sincere, honest, God loving woman who will be his friend. Maybe he is looking for a business partner, or a traveling companion...he is the type of man that would rather be alone (as lonely as it can be) then to be with the 'wrong' person. He is not needy, he is a strong, confident man who is missing that someone special. I use to think 'soul mates' but after reading Dr. Phil's book, I realize that may not be the right wording...I just have to believe that God has someone in mind for me that will be perfect for me...not perfect, just perfect for me and me for him.
