I am Ruth, the wife of one husband for 33 years, and a widow for 7 months. I am also the mother of seven sons, and two daughters and grandmother of eight. Two sons and one are married, and I have five living at home. The ages are 20, 17, 15, 14, and 12. My 18 year old lives in Alaska with Christian family friends.

My Ideal Person
Someone who has a gentle spirit, and is patient, and above all, walks daily with the Lord, and is seeking His will.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I trust the Lord for my every need. He is always faithful.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Joshua 1:9, Proverbs 3:5&6. 1 Peter 5:7 Phil. 4:19, and many many more.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
A Church function or family get-together.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born in Torrance,CA. Lived in Long Beach, Solvang, Moorpark, and Hacienda Heights. Went to college in S.F. Bay area, lived in San Juaquin Valley, and Moved to WI. in 1977.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Love to sing and play piano and clarinet, and am learning to play the guitar. I like to go camping,fishing, and bike riding.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I get up early and have my quiet time. I like to cook, sew, & knit. My 14 year old daughter and I make rubber stamped greeting cards. Also watch some TV, and listen to Christian tapes CD's, and classical music.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
To please the Lord, and seek His will for my life, and be a good example to my children and grandchildren.
