I've been single now for almost 5 years, started dating last October '05, since then I've had a handful of nice dates and one broken heart.(Made me think twice about continuing with this), but one thing I can say is I've learned something from each person I've met, and over-all, it's been a growing experience for me. Growing can be painful as well as gratifying. I've trusted God since I was a , and he's never let me down, this too I entrust to him. Now, to get to the nuts and bolts of describing myself: (trying not to sound like everyone else). I'm a natural listener, but I can hold my own in a conversation, sensitive to the feelings of others, and also naturally inclined to focus on the positive in most situations. I have 3 sons, two of which will be graduating high school soon and a 10 year old. We have stuck together through some storms and somehow they always keep me smiling. Sometimes I make them smile too. My sense of humor varies from corny to even irreverent at times. If you can't laugh at life or yourself, or someone else (not in a belittling way) then your missing out on a lot of pleasure. Oh, I'm proud to say I've lost 24 pounds since these pictures were taken. Started a walking program, and feel great! Love contempoary Christian Music, R&B & old Motown. Like to turn the music up loud and sing in the car. My boys don't like this as much as I do, if they ride with me.
My Ideal Person
A man who is spiritually mature, and in-tune with his heavenly father. Someone with a visible relationship with God. Confidence is good, but not cocky. I like men that have depth and intellegence, but also a tender heart.
