My Ideal Person
I would love a friend (or more) who also enjoys many of the same things. Keeping God first in any relationship is foremost. A ready smile and laughter is also important. Someone who can hold his own in conversation and also appreciates a comfortable silence would be good.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is growing. My God is all important and my relationship with Him is the driving force in all that I do.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Jeremiah 29:11 'For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope Isaiah 40:28-31 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles,They will run and not get tired,They will walk and not become weary.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I have many friends, some are Believers and some are not. A relationship can be very special, but unless it reaches a level of intimacy that can only come with Christ as its center, it will cease to grow.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Born in Richmond, VA. Have lived in West Virginia and in Pennsylvania, then returned to Richmond. I now live in a small town in eastern Virginia. I have sailed in the Caribbean and in the Bahamas, camped through New England, been on mission trips to London and Uganda. I want to visit just about everywhere!

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love worship. My ministry right now through the church is in jail, one or two times a month, depending on my work schedule. I enjoy going to the Creation Festival in Pennsylvania in June for the concerts, camping, and working with my friends in the First Aid station. At home my main hobby is my English Cottage Garden.
