Wow how time flies! I decided I should update my profile. I'm now 57, and had a few additions to the family. I have my 19th grandchild on the way. He is due in October, but will probably come in September. He will be the 9th child of my oldest daughter. They live in the Northwest, so I'm planning a trip up there for his birth. I also have 2 great grandchildren now! I don't feel that old!
I am still searching for the man of my dreams! I am okay if God doesn't have it in His plans for me to love again. But I do pray that His will allows love to come my way again. I am a quiet woman, I can be opinionated about certain things, but will listen to reason! I enjoy watching the grandchildren play sports, plus have enjoyed going to hockey games played locally and local baseball. I love being outdoors,walks, picnics, but they are more fun if you have someone to share the fun. I should exercise more and plan on doing that as I have about 20 pounds I need to lose. I'm not fat, just not as skinny as I once was. My hair is graying, my eyes are brown, but sometimes look hazel in the sunlight. I am 5'7" tall. I go by japdit on some sites. I enjoy surfing the net, and yahoo some. I enjoy hard work, getting dirty, and I do sweat. I know that may not seem very feminine, but it is a fact of life! But even more I love showering and fixing myself up. I love to be and smell clean. I enjoy sipping a cold glass of ice tea with lemon. I can still cook and have always been a pretty good cook. I make a great chocolate cake from scratch. I like having a partner to share the good times as well as the bad. I miss strong, caring, loving arms around me making me feel secure! I am a born again believer in Jesus Christ and am Southern Baptist. I'm not as close to the Lord as I would like to be, but that is something I am working on! It's really hard sometimes to place my problems at His feet and then LEAVE them there. I am honest, faithful, caring, compassionate and searching! I am not a paid member of any site for the moment. My Ideal Person:
I'm looking first and foremost for someone who loves God with all his heart and soul, and puts Him first. Second I am looking for a person with strong and high morals, one who is truthful and his word is his bond. Must be faithful in his relationships. Must love children, as my grandkids are the joy of my life. Someone who will treat me with respect, and the same will be given back. I guess there is no need to really update this, as I'm still looking for this person. I do love a man who keeps himself clean and smells good. Must be drug free, smoke free, and clean in other ways I won't mention. I don't mind if he takes an occasional drink, but don't won't anyone who depends on strong drink!
