My Ideal Person
I want someone that is balanced and grounded in their beliefs and values but is no where near boring. My match should have a strong sense of family and friends as well. If I could describe my ideal match it would be someone that has a strong sense of self, confident, physically fit, comfortable in all types of social settings, has his own friends, supports my need for independent time, honest, trustworthy, spiritual, positive outlook, passionate, intelligent and a great sense of humor – the whole package! While I have become secure in myself, I feel that I am now prepared for that “special someone” with whom I can share my life … I know you are out there somewhere!

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is very important to me. I have made God the center of my life and try to live each day to His glory.

Psalms 119, Isaiah 29, Jeremiah 29, Romans 28

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
A Christian relationship is very important to me because I feel that you should have a common set of beliefs that help you through life. I have made Christ the center and want the same thing for my partner. We need to have that basic understanding and resource from which to draw.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I am a native Georgian. I have had the opportunity to travel with my work all over the United States but love coming home to my roots. Some of my favorite places to visit are Clearwater, Florida (family ties), New York City (food, fun, shopping), local venues in Atlanta.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
My favorite activities at church revolve around our Singles Ministry and a particular ministry where I assist in a leadership capacity (Surviving Divorce). I feel that God wants me to take my experiences through the divorce and use them to help others. Our Singles group does a lot of community service and social activities. Additionally, I try and stay connected to community singles from other churches as well.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
My week day consists of a 6:30am run (3+ miles), working for 8+ hourse, an hour workout at the gym and then home for dinner and getting prepared for the next day. Saturday's usually are spent doing a project around the house, walking at the mountain with a friend and a night out with friends. Sunday's are church and then dinner with my kids.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Some of my personal and spiritual goals consist of expanding our Surviving Divorce ministry. We are hoping to begin to do weekend series for local churches in our community. Additionally, I would like to work with our Women's Ministry to set up a Mentor program for spiritual support.
