First of all, I am a Christian. I've been divorced for 16 years, my husband being unfaithful. I have two grown daughters and three grandchildren. My family and friends are important to me. I enjoy visiting and doing things with them. Bible study is fun. Right now I am learning how to read Hebrew. I love to swim and boat. I would like to learn how to fish. I enjoy the outdoors (nature!), traveling, reading, cooking, garage sales, walking on the beach, watching movies, surfing the web, and making things (crafts). I like to laugh and have fun. I am just an ordinary woman, not super woman...take time get to know me, and you might find my character and charm is worth the time!
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for a sincere, honest, compassionate Christian man. I want someone to laugh with me, enjoy just being together during the good times as well those times that are challenging. I'm not looking for perfect--just someone who is willing to learn from his mistakes, change and grow closer to God. I expect that from myself. I will follow God's leading with any developing relationship. But for now, being friends is great!

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I have found that life is difficult and unpredictable, full of challenges and trials. Yet one thing I am sure of is that God is present and hasn't failed me! His is my life and without him I couldn't endure! He provides me with all that I need. I am praying that God will send me someone to share the rest of my life with. If not, he is the reason I am, and will continue to be, happy and content with life.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Ps.139; Ps. 27:1
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because the Bible tells me that Jesus was born, died, and rose from the grave so that my sin could be forgiven. He is always present when I need him; He never changes even though the world around me changes; He is not a God of confusion, but a God that loves me unconditionally forever. No person alive can do that for me.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born and raised in Northern California. Both parents were native Californians. I lived there until I moved to Florida in 2002. I drove from the San Francisco area in Northern California to St. Mary's in Georgia, all by myself. I just wish I had the time to stop at be a tourist then. My daughter and grandchildren moved here before me. I wanted my grandchildren to know me and spend time with me!
I have done some traveling to British Columbia, Canada; Hawiia, and Europe when I was younger. I loved the Grotto in Hawiia. It was beautiful. So was Victoria's Garden in British Columbia. I love Yosemitt's Toualame Meadows and Bridal Vale Falls!
I also enjoy hunting for shells on the beach and walking along babbling brooks in the mountains. I enjoy drives in the country to look at the wild flowers in bloom in the spring. I love to go camping. I just don't enjoy roughing it like I did when I was younger! lol!!!
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love most church activities--church sings, choir, pot-luck suppers, picnics, and camp. I enjoy teaching Vacation Bible School when I have a chance.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
It is just routine. Get up and get ready for work; go to work and teach all day; then tutor students after school. Then I go home, eat, watch TV while working on grading papers, doing craft projects, cleaning, or playing with my cats. I might stop and eat at a resturant sometimes or stop at my daughters to visit my grandchildren. I will also do errons on the way home from work.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I want to continue to grow closer to God. I've thought about doing some kind of missionary work later. I am learning to read Hebrew so I can read the Old Testament in Hebrew. I hope to learn Greek also. That way I can read the New Testament in Greek. It is something I find challenging and fun!
