I'm a lovable christian lady who loves to have fun and who laughs a lot. My friends would say I'm easy to get along with, a good listener and has a kind and gentle spirit. In my spare time I love to read, write, play video games, watch movies and hang out with my friends and family.
My Ideal Person
I'm looking for someone who shares my beliefs and will help me to grow in my walk with Christ. I'm also looking for someone who is kind and easy to talk to, who can make me laugh and will encourage me to follow my dreams and help make them reality. Right now, I'm mostly interested in finding a friend I can talk to, but can eventually end in a possible relationship.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is very important to me. I've been a christian since I was 15 years old and I recently became baptized a Seventh-day Adventist last year. I know a lot of people look down on us because they think we're weird or that we are some kind of an occult, but if people give us a chance to get to really know who we are and what we believe they will understand that we're not that much different. Some of our beliefs are a little hard to get used to, especially if you've been brought up a certain way all your life and then learn a new way of looking at things. For me, it wasn't hard at all. For the longest time I've been questioning a lot of things and why we (as christians) do the things we do, and when I joined the Seventh-day Advent, all those questions and more became answered.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me - Phil. 4:13. I'd say this is probably one of my favorite verses. One because my friend gave me a figurine with this verse on it and second, it reminds me that when things get tough and I feel like giving up, that all I have to do is look toward Christ and he will give me all the strength I need to get through.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I was in an 8 year relationship with an agnostic and it was difficult at times. I know that in scripture it says "not to be unequally yoked with unbelivers" and I truly understand that verse. It's hard when you feel a certain way about things and the person you are with doesn't. I wasn't a Seventh-day Adventist at the time, I didn't become one until several years later, but while I was with him, a lot of questions arose about my faith and certain bible texts that I could not answer within my own understanding. Then when I did become a SDA member, then those questions arose again and finally were answered. So, I believe it is very important to be with someone who shares your same beliefs because they will help you to grow spiritually and not tear you away or bring you down.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Right now, my mom and I are both members of our women's ensamble. We used to get up in church and lead out in the songs, but they have changed our service and we are currently practicing every wednesdays and once a month on sabbath we go to nursing homes in our area and sing to them. We've already been able to do this once and it was very successful. So, we are planning on doing that again within the next month or so. I am also helping out with our church bulletin (or program). I, along with this other lady, enter all the information regarding the next weeks church service. I've been doing this for about a month now and I really enjoy it.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I would like to get more involved with the church doing some other things like help doing things in the community and stuff. I also have plans for working on a book. It's mostly my own testimony of how God has helped me to overcome some of the challenges in my life. I haven't started it yet, or know where to start, but I hope that it will be a blessing to others.
