My adult sons, and sweet granddaughter, live on the east coast. God is my strength and future and His faithfulness abounds. My belief is that God is relational; therefore, so am I in God and with others. Making it to church on Sunday morning (altho I do) isn't the only way to be close to God and His people or to learn about His Truth.
I own a counseling practice which is both exciting and exhausting. The bottom line is that I want to do what God wants me to do...so don't come near if you don't have the same thing in mind. I'm a licensed counselor, educator and consultant so I stay pretty busy. Now is the time to seek balance with a private life. I love to play racquetball a few times a week. I like to cook and read, enjoy being outside and like to experience new things. Someday I'm going to risk snow skiing and riding a horse (noooo, not at the same time!!).
Although I'm a healthy adult female and not a prude, I live a chaste lifestyle which demonstrates my love for God and my commitment to my future husband (you don't want me fooling around with lots of guys before you ...do you???). It's not an easy road, but God doesn't always ask us to do the easy things.
My Ideal Person:
I'm changing this as I learn...I dated around in 2008 but nothing serious. I believe that God knows whom I prefer: someone who is realistic, down to earth, and relational. It would be fun to share some interests but introducing each other to new things is neat too. No one is perfect, however I prefer someone who has worked through his divorce issues and has a steady relationship with God (as demonstrated by loving behavior to all, willing to attend church with me, clean language, volunteerism and other Biblical precepts...not in overspirituality or religiosity in words). I would also prefer someone who is physically healthy and who enjoys a healthy lifestyle. Oh...and laughter! We've got to laugh.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Just as I can't imagine not having God guide my life, I can't imagine being in a relationship with someone who doesn't share my love for God or my relief at His grace. I want to praise God with someone while we watch a sunrise.
