Profile for ColoSweetCheeks
Want to meet a gentleman who loves the Lord as much as I do. I love the outdoors, but not snakes! // I'm hoping to find a friend who I can "talk" to and get to know better. My friends would tell you that I am honest, have a keen sense of humor, love music and play piano, enjoy cooking, baking, sewing, and line dancing.

My Ideal Person
Someone who puts Christ first in his life. I am happy to be #2 if Jesus is #1. I try to be 110% lady in all that I do and say. I am very happy with my life and know that I have lots to share with another person. I like learning new things, and I would absolutely love to have a piano duet partner! I love to play the piano and volunteer to do so quite often. My grandkids say I'm a "cool" granny! I have a great relationship with all five of my children. I am absolutely positive that God has someone very special already chosen for me to share my love with. Praise Him!!

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Absolutely the most important part of my life. I believe that God placed me on this earth to love Him and honor Him and I do my best to live up to that each and every day.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
There are many that I love and have memorized. One that stands out among the rest would be: Prov. 3: 5,6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight."

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
The Bible says that we should not be unequally yoked with another.....and if God said it, I believe it!

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born and raised in Kansas. Over the years I have been coast to coast, but only out of the United States once. My late husband and I took a cruise several years ago and it was great. We loved to dance and there was plenty of opportunity for dancing on the BIG ship. I go back to Kansas 2-3 times a year to visit my 88 yr. old Mother. She was widowed nine years ago and we always have great fun together. She has a wonderful sense of humor and she is lots of fun to be around. I love to laugh!!

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love music and oftentimes play the piano at worship services. I used to teach line dancing and still love to do it; but there's nothing better than a good two-step, 3-step, or waltz.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Up early to get the day rolling! Always eat breakfast---it's the most important meal of the day! ha Sometimes sit out on the deck and have my decaf (either coffee or tea - - - sometimes just water!) and read my Bible and pray. If I'm not pressed timewise, I glance over the local newspaper, but it is not my #1 priority. After that I get started on the daily dozen.....laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc., etc. There is always something that needs to be done. Quite often I take meals to someone in our church family that need a "bright spot" in their day. I try to make tomorrow's list of Things to Do the night before, but I am quite flexible and if plans need to be changed, I am able to bend!

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Finding out what my spiritual gifts are is important to me. I have been studying that lately and praying about what God would have me do in this new stage of my life. I'm just sure that I'm "good to go" for another 30+ years and I want to be in the center of God's will for my life. Currently I am heading up the drama ministry for our church body and I love it.
