65 year old Woman in new brockton, Alabama, United States Looking For: Men

Profile for grace2you2
Intelligent, Caring, Passionate, Outgoing, fun, talented, compassionate, excellent at listening, good at calmly discussing all sides of an issue when a decision needs to be made; tends to motivate others toward positive goals. I'm a mom to a very special little boy...so you need to be great "dad" material. My goals : I'm passionate about my relationship with Christ: about the family, and how the political system is jeopardizing the future of our Christian heritage (which is why I'm passionate about my job); about Christ, and what I do, or don't do today that will affect my 's future...about marriages, and the mindsets that people have that places them in jeopardy. I'm passionate about right and wrong...and the inerrant truth of the Bible. I'm passionate about sharing the Lords healing grace and mercy to those who are hurting or lost; and encouragement to those who have lost hope. And passionate about encouraging families...and strengthening the homes...encouraging women to be all that God intended them to be, not what society thinks they should be. Favorite things to do: Depends on weather, mood (hey, I'm a girl!),and time,..I like resting; playing baseball, basketball, and riding bikes with my ; reading, studying the Word; teaching my all about God, our history, and helping him envision how other people lived without common comforts; watching a good movie (love the classic westerns, musicals, history movies, political thrillers, civil war epics, Andy Griffith); riding to the beach to watch a sunset; board games; horseback riding;quilting, motorcycles...more recently, typing answers to these questions... cause of breakups: in a word...selfishness; there were biblical grounds for divorce. But regardless...it's a painful experience. I have actually been married three times, and then the Lord met me at the well. bad choices, wrong reasons; What have I learned? to look deep within myself to find my part in the problems, allow the Lord to fix me, and move forward in Him. I quit being the "savior". If being married three times gives you pause, it should...but just know that God's mercy and grace is an awesome thing; and that even Paul had a meager beginning...I also learned that there is nothing worth anything without Christ at the center of it; you cannot change a persons will, nor a person...and that I would rather have what He has planned for me, than anything I could try to engage in on my own...I have learned to depend totally on Him...for everything. And that there is healing when you allow Him to search your heart. If you don't write back because I've been married three times...remember grace, sometimes the greatest blessings are bound up in grace and mercy. God finds me worthy, and continues to use my hurts, my victories, and my valleys to minister to others when no one else can. traveled alot; Sailed for two years, used to fly alot; Traveled extensively; Scotland and love to visit Civil war monuments with my ...reliving history... "never despise meager beginnings"... I love that quote. just ask...I love to hear all about you, and share alittle about me. Always believe in love's enduring promise.

My Ideal Person
Patient, caring, big hearted soul; Single (that doesn't mean separated), successful, sane, not afraid to lead, Spiritually mature; Godly, with evidence of the Lord's presence and leadership in their everyday life; Honest; someone who will love my son and be a Godly example to him, the spiritual leader, a protector, friend and confidant. someone I can trust, who believes in a commitment, no matter what challenges life throws at you, and who understands the meaning of faithfulness. Someone who can laugh...and cry. Tall order huh?

What are your favorite television shows?: Cosby; History programs; JAG

Favorite films: for love of the game

What are your favorite musicians or bands?: Dino (especially his surf CDs, Loree, Chris,
