Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My trust is in the Lord. I have been a believer since college, and it has changed my life completely. Jesus is central and the last word on everything about my life. I have seen God's faithfulness to set our family on course and to attend to our greatest needs. I am filled with gratitude.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
my favorite is Jude 24-25: Now unto Him who is able to keep you and to present you faultless with the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, the only wise God our Savior, be honor and majesty, power and dominion both now and forever, amen!
I also live on Luke 4:17-19 and II Corinthians 10:4-5.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Christians have an added dimension. They are alive in spirit. Those who do not yet believe do not possess that essential dimension.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Oakland California. I moved to Los Angeles after one semester at Cal. I attended UCLA, LIFE Bible College, and ORU.
I have visited New Zealand, Haiti, Alaska, and Africa. All are favorites - well, except Haiti.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Worship, fellowship, prayer, ministry times, good sermons and conferences, and fellowship
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
wake up at 6 am
up and going by 8 am
full steam ahead by 9 am sometimes at home, sometimes out
home again by 5-7pm
bed by 10 - 11 pm
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I have goals to change the face of Africa - though I know it will be a small thing for the big picture, it is big to me: Funding is pending to develop 500 church/orphanages in Africa and Asia. The children have a desperate need to be discipled and raised in the Lord's family with a sense of destiny to lead in their nations. That's my ten year plan, and a surprising amount of that work can be done from the US. although there will be ministry trips to equip leaders.
