Now that I am retired I enjoy playing bridge, dancing, golf, traveling, listening to music, writing poetry, reading and spending time with my grandchildren/family. I pretty much know what I want and I am not afraid to go for the brass ring. I have a good sense of humor and smile a lot. I like animals with first preference being cats. I have one and she knows she owns me. We have each other trained very well. I prefer sunny days over rainy ones. I like Spring and Fall vacations (not too much into sun bathing due to sensitive skin -- burn easily). Have done my share of camping in tents and now I prefer to be pampered when traveling. I like affection both receiving and giving. I am recovering from Lymes Disease and I am mildly handicapped from a work related accident (you would never know by looking at me). I am honest and authentic...what you see is what you get. I grew up in the military family both as a dependent and a wife and know what that is all about. Thus, when it comes to , I am firm but loving. I enjoy cooking and having someone to dote upon with special recipes. I am comfortable in jeans to formal wear. Have lived all over the USA and Japan. Very much of an extrovert. I am comfortable in being with Country Folk just as well as highly sophisticated people. I have friends from all walks of life and social classes (and I believe we are all of God). I enjoy trying new things and seeing new places. I have had to be strong to survive my life's challenges but inside there is a little girl that loves to play and needs a friend and life partner.

My Ideal Person
I am looking for an honest, authentic and emotionally/financially secure man. I like doors held for me and if your arms are full, I will hold the door for you as well. I want a partner for life -- someone who is friendly with God and knows that HIS plan is the only plan. Inner goodness is much more important than the package.
