I'm 5'5", blue eyes, blond hair, small to average build, and I look good with the right backlighting. My friends would describe me as creative, funny (ha ha not weird), loyal, a good listener, stable, well-read (I'm an Information Professional, for God's sake), intensely involved with whatever task is at hand, nurturing, the maker of a mean lemon drop martini, naughty around those who know me well, which would come as a complete surprise to those who don't.
Here's what I sense about myself. I am six years out of a divorce, pretty much healed, independent emotionally and financially, and enjoy living by myself. I have lots of friends and colleagues, and I'm actively involved in the lives of my adult sons, but every now and then I get a twinge in my heart reminding me how nice it would be to share my life with someone. I usually coast along pretty well: remodeling a daylight basement apartment, landscaping, loving my sons and my pets, reading (Gilead, Screwtape Letters, the KC Library system entire gardening collection), watching a video (Cinema Paradiso) with the lights dimmed and a glass of wine, entertaining friends in my patio, and working two jobs. I love the theatre, having taught and directed, acted as an extra in a couple of movies, and currently do role playing as a training method in a company called Interplay. My favorite vacation is to go to London to attend the theatre, but NY isn't too shabby, either.
My Ideal Person
Honesty, integrity, and fidelity are important to me in a relationship. I would like to be able to share my Christian beliefs with my partner, and participate in church activities together. I value physical fitness, a healthy lifetstyle, a sense of humor, creativity, and a positive outlook on life.
