Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is integral to my life...without it there is nothing...no hope...no life Even though I am alone...I am not alone--the Holy Spirit is my constant companion-whether I acknowledge him or not--I certainly talk to him all the time :o) ...I believe that the bible is the literal word of God...I am a creationist...its just easier to believe the bible is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. It isnt blind faith...the word is proven over and over to me every day. It is amazing to contemplate living amongst the beasts of old as they were written about throughout the old testament...the cockatrice, the unicorn, the dragon (leviathan) and dinosaurs (behemoth). Why would God inspire man to write something if it werent his truth? There is a scripture that says we see through a glass darkly...and other scriptures that intimate that we are not meant to know and understand everything...just to accept it and one day it will all be revealed to us. I know there is a veil between a spiritual world and us--that protects us, but it takes little to tear that veil away. In the end days the veil will come down. I dont want to be around for that. We get enough signs of evil at work in our world just the way it is without visibly seeing the demons that torment us.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
They shall rise up with wings as eagles...they shall run and not be weary... Ask and it shall be given to you, seek and ye shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you No greater love hath a man than...to lay down his life for his friend Psalm 23 Jesus is God's own son...himself made manifest to us...he died for us. How great a love is that for GOD to come to earth as a baby...grow up knowing the weaknesses and trials of being human,,,and love us inspite of ourselves...and then die for our sin--not his,,,he wsa blameless...so we wouldnt have to bear the consequences of eternal hell...if only we repent and accept his free gift of salvation and forgiveness. I'm there!

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
So there can be a connection of souls. You can't get more intimate than sharing the experience of salvation with another human being.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Roseburg and Coos Bay, Oregon. I have lived in several parts the western part of the United States, as an adult, though. I love going to the beach whether on the ocean or a riverside or a lake. Yellowstone Park is fascinating. I enjoy Seattle in May, when there is no fog.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Retreats, and camp meeting, church socials. I like going to concerts, the fair, camping, fishing, hiking, walking, exploring, singing in the choir, gold panning, gem hunting.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
When I am working it is usually get up, shower, dress and put on my make up and fix my hair, breakfast, go to the school. Check for school email, and prep for the morning. Teach reading in the morning, prep for the afternoon, lunch and either, Music, Art, PE, or Computer Skills in the afternoon. Bus duty at the end of the day. Then clean up and more prep and check emails at the end of the day. Lock up and head for home, stopping at the PO on the way to check for mail. At home...change clothes, make dinner, do dishes, check the web, watch a bit of TV or read, then go to bed. On weekends I clean house, do laundry, buy groceries, get the mail, go do something like gem hunting, go to church, call family, go back up to the school and plan and prepare for the week. Right now...school is out and I am getting ready to move to Salt Lake City.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I am a life long learner... I would like to get my master's degree and finish my music minor...and explore other educational avenues I want to meet that special someone and establish a relationship I have a lot of books to read, and at least one to write I want a mission...to make a difference or plant a seed I want to see what is on the other side of heaven's gates
