I am shy at first but once I get to know a person, that quickly goes away! I'm said to be funny and most folks seem to like my company. I enjoy many things in life, most, thankfully are free!! (I.E., sunsets, lakes, picnicing, just enjoying natural scenery, watching my Grandbabies play, e.t.c...)
I DO occasionally like to go out to a movie or dinner, take in a play or concert, but, if staying in is more in the budget, then a good movie, some popcorn and a cup of hot chocolate works too!!
I enjoy most kinds of music, although I am not fond of heavy metal or punk rock and some of the Rap and Hip Hop has alot to be desired, I LOVE oldies, Big Band and some Classical.
My taste in movies goes from Drama to Horror, I guess it depends on the quality of the movie more than the content. Not that into car crashes and violence but, again,it depends on the movie plot.
I'm not that philosophical so, we won't even TRY that one!! I believe VERY strongly in GOD and in Jesus though my Christian walk needs major improvements, (Maybe finding the right Christian friend would help?)
I enjoy crafting and anything sort of artsy.
I believe in honesty abouve all else in any type of relationship so, I have to be up front with you now.. I am a very large woman, but I also have a big heart too. I am not beautiful on the outside but, I pray I am beautiful from the inside out in a special person's eyes someday!

At this time, I am looking for a friend, someone I can spend some time with, get to know and see where the LORD leads from there. I have been out of the dating scene for quite a while now, even though I have been single now for over 15 years as, I was busy working, raising my kids to adulthood and then caring for my folks till GOD took them home so, now, I would just like some companionship
