A firend loves at all times. I want a friend who values me as I value him. // My personality? I love deeply and am passionate about pleasing God by living my life in a way that brings honor and glory to God's holy name. I think deeply. I feel deeply. I believe in giving and receiving in love. I believe in asking for forgiveness and admitting when I have acted in a self-centered way.
I value people even though I might not always agree with them. All people have needs. All people have dreams. All people have been hurt in their life.
A smile, an encouraging word, a kind word, a hug, taking time to listen to someone...these are precious, worth far more than silver or gold. When I give my heart to a friend, I give it 100%. A few good close friendships are worth so much more than a roomful of acquaintances. I value my handful of close women friends. I am "me"--not perfect...just willing to grow in Christ. The simple part of me is like a who delights in sharing what I call "the true treasures of life": I like to laugh. I like to smile. I like to kiss. I like to hug. I like to talk. I like to speak kindly. I like to give words of encouragement and appreciation. I like to listen. I like to watch sunsets. I like to dance. I like to snuggle. I like knowing that I am his and he is mine, not because of ownership, but because of trust and value. I like to praise God and thank Him daily for my life as His born again . I like to do whatever God calls me to do for His Kingdom. What do I like to do? Watch sunsets, watch a good movie, go on picnics, dance, be on the lake, camp,take drives and explore, write books and poetry, comedy clubs, listen to jazz/blues/country/praise music, cook out, go to unique out of the way romantic restaurants, motorcyle rides, candlelight dinners at home,...I am open and flexible. What do I dislike? Rudeness, gossip, blame, lieing, hurtful sarcasm, cruel remarks that hurt others, withdrawing instead of working through things together. I spend time every morning with the Lord waiting to hear from Him and learning of Him. He is the center of my life which adds to every other relationship. Ok...this is a start. I have more to share about my family, my , my grandchildren, my personal faith walk with Jesus Christ. Later......
My Ideal Person
I am asking God for a true friend. I believe that a true friend loves at all times. I believe that a true friend values his/her significant other. I believe when we put Jesus Christ as the center of our relationship, everything else in our relationship will bring honor and glory to HIm. I want a man of God who is willing to grow with me in Christ Jesus, respect our individuality and desire the treausres of life that truly matter. Sound too simple? I believe this is possible as we walk with Christ.
