My Ideal Person
The gentleman I am looking for is a godly man who is kind, caring, dependable, loyal, trustworthy, and is fun to be with. He also has a positive outlook of life and puts God first and his wife second. I also want this special person in my life to share with me good conversations, to be cultured, educated, adventurous and loving.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is the most important thing in my life because without the Lord, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

John 3:16 Romans 8:28 Psalm 23

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because one should not be unequally joked as sharing the Lord and working together as a couple for Him are most important in my life.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Cuba. My family is from Spain and on my mother's side from Italy. I came to this beautiful country when I was just 12 years of age, and was smuggled to Florida as part of the Peter Pan Project (15,000 children were smuggled here through the Catholic Charities in 1961/1962). I was sent to San Antonio, Texas, where I spent all my high school years. I loved Texas and graduated from high school there. I have travelled to all the states except for Hawaii and Alaska. I have also travelled to Central and South America and the Caribbean. My future plans include traveling to Europe, Jerusalem, China, Africa and India. Perhaps with the special person that the Lord has already selected for me.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love praise and worship. We have a great P & W Team and a church that cares. Additionally, I have had a homeless ministry for the past 18 years, where we feed and clothed the homeless after bringing them the word of God weekly. The church that I attend now is going to get involved in this ministry and start ig here in this county and its vecinity counties. I will be very involved with it and be an integral part of it.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
My day is busy. I get up at 5:45 a.m. and drive just two miles to the school where I teach, LaBelle Sr., the only high school in the small city I live. I teach two classes of American literature and have taught one class of British literature, which is for 12th graders. Nex school year I will no longer teach the British lit, but one class of ESL - English for Speakers of Other Languages--this will be a first for me and it should be great fun...especially after these children realize that I will not be speaking Spanish to them...just English so they can learn fast....! Each classis 90 minutes. I have my planning period back to back with lunch and do my cafteria duty for 30 minutes each day. I come home after errands and doing some planning/checking papers and bring home some work sometimes. I take care of my home, which I am remodeling beautifully and take care of all of my chores. I bought the house I live in last year as a property for rent/investment, and it turned out that I moved here after my divorce and am just two miles from the school and two miles from my daughter's home. We have a Wednesday night bible study/prayer meeting and a morning service at the church, which I attend weekly.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
