Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is very important to me. One of these days I will be meeting my maker and I want to know him and have a relationship with him before I get there. I have had hard times that I don't think I could have survived without God in my life.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Romans 8:1-I used to struggle with guilt over the past. My pastor made a poster with this verse to remind me that I am forgiven.
Proverbs 3: verses 5 and 6. These verses can be a handbook for life. As long as you do this, you can get through anything.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
A christian relationship is important to me, for one, the Bible commands it. Also, if I am in a relationship with someone that is not a christian it will affect my relationship with the Lord sooner or later.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Paris, AR. I have never traveled. There are a lot of places I would love to visit. I would like to see Kentucky-Is the grass really blue? I would like to visit southern plantations and see the antiques in them. I would like to see a lighthouse and the ocean.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
My favorite church activities is potluck suppers, of course!
My favorite activities outside of church is fishing when I get to go. Concerts, bowling, and yard sales.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I work half a day. I am taking courses online to develop a new career. I then cook, clean, watch a little TV and sleep.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My goal is to get off social security and get a life back again. Why so many people are trying to get on disability, I don't know! It is boring and no future in it.
My spiritual goals is to be more consistent in my Bible Study and church attendence. I also need the courage to witness to some of my family members that are not saved.
