Most of my friends would say I have a strong, yet, easy going personality.
My philosophy on life/work/God/the world today is: The LORD is the most important. Work is a necessary thing, but not something that commands all of my time. The world today is progressively getting worse and in some ways better. People are realizing that something has to change. I believe that the majority of people still believe in GOD in the heart to one degree or the other, however, some are not serious enough and that will be a problem for them. Others have "seen" based on the world around them that something very serious is taking place. Can explain more on that another time.
My Ideal Person
Describe What You're Looking For in a Christian partner: I'm looking for someone who wants to take it slow in developing a relationship. After all, I have been single for a number of years and I have discovered that when one gets in a hurry. Mistakes get made. I like my dates to be assertive in decisions. My feelings on children are they are the greatest gifts that GOD has ever given me and I feel honored to have been able to raise two sons and watch them mature into the men they are today. I like my date to be a old fashioned person with personal qualities such as being a gentleman as they used to be. Someone who believes that no one is perfect but that one is a work in progress. Someone who is mature in their Christian faith and have similar beliefs as I do. Otherwise, what would be the point since as the scriptures say, "do not be unequally yoked." The people I tend to be attracted to are goal oriented and gentle in their spirit yet strong as a person and to be the leader in their home but allowing me to interject my view or being able to discuss together. I enjoy spontaneous humor in a person but people who still believe that NOT everything is funny and what is seen as humor today isn't really not funny. I enjoy the 'old' humor: Red Skelton, Jonathan Winters. In other words;clean humor. I know there's chemistry between my date and I if there is a spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical combination. Can't be anything less than that.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith in Jesus Christ is #1 and my walk with him is the most important aspect in my life. I always enjoy being used in whatever ways HE sees fit. I pray for answers to most things; I pray for others and HE answers on most things.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I have three favorites that I live by:
Psalms 91
1. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2. I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.
3. For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence.
4. He will cover thee with his pinions, And under his wings shalt thou take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler.
5. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6. For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7. A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee.
Psalms 51
1. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: According to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.
3. For I know my transgressions; And my sin is ever before me.
4. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, And done that which is evil in thy sight; That thou mayest be justified when thou speakest, And be clear when thou judgest.
5. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity; And in sin did my mother conceive me.
6. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts; And in the hidden part thou wilt make me to know wisdom.
7. Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8. Make me to hear joy and gladness, That the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9. Hide thy face from my sins, And blot out all mine iniquities.
10. Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me.
11. Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy Holy Spirit from me.
12. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with a willing spirit.
I don't know the exact book, chapter and verse, but my 3rd favorite scripture is paraphrased: "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the Father except through me."
