My best friends would describe me as a giving person, loyal, dependable, fun, honest, confidant, spontaneous, not easily intimidated and never afraid of a new challenge. I am a strong person, but playful, soft, sensual. Friends would also tell you that I am not real organized, and somewhat scatterbrained at times.... and you THOUGHT I was perfect.... Oh well!! Kinda bashful at first, when bashful, I giggle -a lot! But that's a great ice-breaker, hmmm? I am passionate about the things I believe in, but am willing to learn more. I am fiercely protective about my children.
I work for a company who provides care to mentally, physically challenged adults. I currently am working midnights in the home of a 76 year old MR gentleman who is very amusing and so much fun. I LOVE what I do for a living. As part of my job, I have received several medical-related certificates. In the past I was a VISTA, basically a domestic Peace Corp. I am a people-person, and enjoy making a difference and helping others.
For fun, I LOVE the water... basically anything about it! It is soooo peaceful, when my mood requires that. And when I am playful, it is accommodating to that as well. I like to camp, ride bikes (both types), like to fish, but you have to bait my hook and remove the fish. Warning: I will always catch the biggest one! I love LIVE sporting events, anything! Also like zoos, hiking, romantic strolls, amusement parks! Some indoor activities that I enjoy are, museums, dining, art, shopping, (duh!), snuggling with a great guy... Massages to someone special and making him feel oooh, so great! TALKING, just having a regular conversation with someone who holds my interest.
My favorite music depends on my mood. Gospel when I just want to hang out with the Lord. I love the power & romance of classical. Smooth jazz is great for a cozy evening by the fireplace or in the hottub. Journey, Mellencamp are great for letting off steam or cleaning house. Rod Stewart is cool to travel with. Basically, it's like oxygen to me... I just totally love it!!
I am happiest and best at peace when I am secure in a happy relationship with a great guy. My life is full and busy as it is, and I know I don't need a man in it to survive. But I love falling asleep in my man's arms every night and waking him with kisses.
What makes me proud? I am proud of the way I am raising my children... they really are awesome! I am proud of the person who I am. I am REAL, and honest, never would stoop to the level of being fake to get what I want. I am also proud that I can say that I am independent, and always confident.
