After being married for 20 yrs., it's extremely difficult to emerge into the dating scene once again. I'm old-fashioned and believe in traditional values. I have two wonderful boys that are my life! I'm outgoing, believe in open, honest communication, and believe that God should be first in a relationship of any kind. I can be comfortable in a pair of jeans or dressing for the theatre. I love the outdoors and yes enjoy sports. I am very close to my family and scrapbook pictures in my spare time. I enjoy dining out, the movies, theatre, horseback riding, the mountains, and the beach. I like to travel and have been to Australia and New Zealand. I enjoy most types of music except . foreverbelievin at the chocolate drink
My Ideal Person
I'm looking for a man that is growing closer to God in his walk and faith. Someone I can grow with eventually perhaps. A good friend to begin with with God at the forefront of the relationship and then we'll see what happens. Committment doesn't scare him. Family is important to him. Communication, trust, and honesty is essential.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is extremely important to me! Without it, I would be lost. I am very active in my church where I serve as a Stephen Minister and Leader!
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
The scripture verses most important to me vary depending on my feelings for the day. For example, if I'm needing uplifting I look at one thing and if I just want to thank God I may look at another.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
It's the only type of relationship to have. Vows are so important and yet taken so lightly. A relationship with Christ at the center of it and one that you have a spouse to grow closer to Christ with is so hard to find.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in NC. I have traveled the east coast and some in the midwest and to Australia and New Zealand.
