I'm a young single mom, have 1 son. I've been raising him without any help of his father. This man isn't in our lives anymore. My son is very important to me and the Lord and His bible as well. I'd really like to live in the States in the near future, that's why I'm on this website. I'm open for relocating at the right moment. I love teenagers, and I work at a highschool, though I'd like to work more intensively with teens. Im a teacher's aide. Graduated in February. I'm going back to college in September'09 to become a highschool teacher.
I recently lost over 40lbs, mostly because I discovered jogging, fitness and weightlifting to be great fun! I still want to loose some more, although I'm really happy the way I look & feel now. Life is much more fun when you can dress what you like and move the way you'd like to. I'd would love to be with a man, who likes to work out as well, or at least has a healthy lifestyle too. I'm not obsessed and enjoy some icecream every now and then, too 
I love being outdoors; the forrest, oceans or the mountains, I love them all. Especially mountains since we don't have them in the Netherlands. Recently I went to Point Lobos, CA and it was SO awesome there! I can enjoy myself indoors as well; I love to sing, listen to music, cook, watch a good movie, play board or cardgames, ect.
I'm not opposed to alcohol, I just don't like most of the drinks. I have no objections if you drink, except when you drink for the wrong reason.
I've never been married, but hope to be in the next few years, and let only death do us part. I believe divorce has become a bad luxury we can't afford to put our kids through. It's the easy way out and killing the children on the inside. Not judging anybody who's divorced, just that I dont want jump into marriage.

A sound doctrine, humor, kindness, meekness & fun. A rolemodel & friend for my son. Sensible and sensitive. Creative and likes the outdoors. Compassion for the poor, sick & needy. Musical and healthy lifestyle. I don't mind tattoos/piercings/long hair. Rather, I like the skater/rock/biker kinda guy.
I believe the husband is the head of the wife, so I will submit myself to that, according to the Word. Not being his slave or less worthy, but each is of equally great worth in their lives.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
God's saving grace is my main reason for not being dead right now! He gave me so many blessings and is my Father and Caretaker. Jesus is my Saviour, the Holy Spirit is my Advocate and Comfortor, and wants to help me on a daily basis!
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Acts 4:12, Rom.8:37-39, Rom.12:2 and besides that: all writings by Paul, since he was the apostle to the gentiles. All scripture is written for us, but not all scripture is written to us.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
According to the bible I shouldn't be with a man who isn't saved. I'd like a man who is saved by grace through faith. Who has love for his Saviour and the Word of God. I would like to pray and study bible together and take care of the whoever needs it. I believe in a biblical marriage.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Holland, Europe. I traveled several times to France during childhood, Italy and Germany as well. The last years we've been in Londen and the best summer ever, we spent in the USA! We really want to go back to the States and not return back. I hope to visit Israel & Africa too, one day. Update: We have visited the Bay Area, CA and San Francisco. It was AWESOME!!! Hope to come back asap.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I like to pray with people. I like to teach the christians, the Word of the Lord, especially teenagers. I'd like to be a faithful servant of God. Btw, the Church is not a building, but is the whole Body of Christ.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I work at a highschool and go to college. I take care of my son by myself. I work out about 4 times a week. We have one cat, she's 9 years. Hope you like pets, too?
