Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My youngest daughter is definately here to help me with my faith. She goes to a Christian school and knows much more about the Bible than I, so she usually sets me straight and does her research in the Bible and reads from it to me when there is something I am struggling with. She is also here to push me to go to church and be around other believers. I have been a Christian for awhile, but she has definately helped me deepen my faith and remain faithful during my divorce and afterwards.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I have to admit that I don't know my Bible like I should, and don't really have a personal favorite verse memorized. My daughter says I can borrow hers until I find my own.
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
-Matthew 6:34
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
-Joshua 1:9
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I believe that it is important to have a spiritual leader in the home, and I would like to have a husband that our relationship is pleasing to God and a husband that can help me grow in my faith and encourage me as my daughter does, Which I would encourage and help him grow also. I also want someone that together we can be good examples for my daughters and that my daughters feel comfortable with calling him dad.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in East TX and lived there all my life till we recently moved to College Station. I love to travel and have traveled quite a bit in the U.S in the past, but have never been on a plane.
