I guess I will start with the fact that although I'm imperfect, I'm at a point in my life where my faith is a priority. I've been led down a few rough roads in my journey - but they've brought me to where I am now and I'm so grateful for them! I'm learning to truly depend on the Lord - and that is priceless!
I was married for 7-1/2 years, separated since Feb. '04, and finally divorced in Oct. '04. I have a beautiful 10 year-old - who lives with me. I wouldn't have it any other way :).
My friends would probably describe me as a woman who is serious when there is a need to be, but can also cut loose and really enjoy life. I can be dramatic at times, tender, courageous, and very afraid - and my would tell you that I can be just as silly as a 10 year old!! LOL
Things I enjoy in my spare time: working out at the gym, jogging, singing, reading, trips to the beach, camping, catching a movie, a Beth Moore Bible study and hanging out with my .
On a side note - due to my current situation- I am not able to move - at least - anytime soon. Just thought you should know that.
My Ideal Person
The "Christian partner" that I deserve is a sacrificial leader. One who is mature, yet teachable and desires to grow with his partner and family. "The woman came out of a man's rib to be cared for. Not from his feet to be abused and walked on. Nor from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal. Yet from under the arm to be protected and held, and next to the heart to be loved." He would not just be able to tolerate children - but truly love them (my son deserves the best - because he is the best). Of coarse - there would have to be attraction (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual) and chemistry...but I believe that goes without saying for any potential romantic relationship.
