Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
It's my life. It's very important for me to be involved in several ministries, especially youth and the worship team. I would like to become more involved once again, because I took off for several years to go back to school.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good, to those who are called according to his purpose! Also, Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you hope and a future!
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because of being a Christian and not wanting to be unequally yoked with a potential mate who is just along "for the ride." My life is a living sacrifice for the Lord, which is what we are called to be and if you've not accepted Christ into your life, you can't really understand what Scripture says.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Sussex, a small town suburb of Milwaukee. I've traveled numerous places across the country including several countries overseas, because of working in the travel industry for several years. Some of my favorite places to visit: England, Paris, Spain, Australia (yet to visit), Galapagos Islands (yet to visit), Germany (yet to visit), and South Africa (yet to visit) PS: Also need to go on a few cruises, as I haven't been fortunate enough to go on any yet...hee...hee!!
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
My favorite activities as eluded to in a previous question, are working with youth ministry and the worship team, with music, sound, etc. Outside church, I like to participate in watersports (summer), hiking, biking, day trips/sightseeing, mini-golf, picnics, festivals, any performing arts event, etc.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Currently, it can vary quite a bit, because of being in transition, between graduating from school and looking to enter my new career, Health Information Technology. Usually, it encompasses getting up pretty early, if working on 1st shift (which I haven't done for over 3 years) and going to work during usual hours. At night, I would probably be involved with my small group and several ministries at least 2-3 nights a week.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Personal: Getting married, moving to Nashville, going on a short-term mission trip overseas, possibly adopting and (or) sponsoring a child, going to bible college long-term and in the meantime, working with troubled youth in youth ministry. Spiritual: Finding a more stable church (preferably one with an active singles ministry that is receptive to marriage), adopting a mentor that I can grow spiritually with and become a leader in the Singles Ministry (which is hurting in most churches if existent at all).
