Initially people find me shy and introverted, but that's just my reserved nature. Once I develop friendship, trust and comfort in a relationship, I'm as easygoing and friendly as can be!
I enjoy traveling, reading, camping, country western dancing and antique hunting.
I've been a born again Christian since age 13 but the past 2 years has found me yearning for a closer walk with the Lord. I'm a firm believer in discovering Christianity without the "religion" involved. I enjoy going to church but have discovered many "religions" do not focus on the Grace of God as being the only method of getting to Heaven and am finding difficulty in locating a church that promotes this and not anything "works based". Nothing I can do will earn my place with Jesus in Heaven. My acceptance of His sacrifice on the Cross is all sufficient for me.
I enjoy peace and serenity; I don't like crowds, shopping, or bigger gatherings. I prefer to be anonymous in this world and don't like attention drawn to myself.
I have learned what priorities in life should be about....and I am learning to accept that I don't have to be a high powered professional to be successful in life. I am not materialistic and money is not a huge goal for me.....I've learned that more stress comes along with titles and salariesy.
I am very, very "frugal" - my dad says I'm the "tightest" person he has ever known. And I tell him I've learned it all from him! I save my money for things I enjoy doing.
My friends will tell you that I have the biggest heart and am a "giver" not a "taker", and that I am a loyal friend to the end.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a man who is grounded in his faith but can also function in the secular world we live in. I need someone who can be honest but sensitive when the truth might hurt! Someone who enjoys living in this world but is fundamentally committed to the eternal life we would share together when this life ends.

Romans 8:28-30
I Timothy 4:12 (Favorite since I was 13.....)
Proverbs in its entirety!
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
A Christian relationship is so important to me because it will provide the correct foundation for a lasting relationship. Nothing in this world will matter when we are gone - we must concentrate on living our life to prepare ourselves for God's glory!
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up on a farm in the Panhandle of Nebraska. My family took annual trips as learning experiences. I've been to 37 of 50 states (Alaska twice!) and hope to visit all the states before I die.
My favorite place to visit is San Francisco. I love the beach, the seafood, the sea lions on the wharves, wine tasting in Napa Valley, and the hilly walks like Embarcadero or over the Golden Gate Bridge.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love bible studies, potlucks, Sunday School, and volunteering when I can.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I am a morning person and usually am up by 6 am. I fix a pot of coffee, check my email and news outlets, then shower and ready myself for work. I usually take a lunch to work and fix soup or pizza for supper. Pizza is my favorite food in the world!
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Personal Goals - Buy or build a house, a Ford F-150 pickup truck, a Border Collie dog.
Spiritual Goals - I want to increase my bible knowledge and go on mission trips someday.
