HELLO... This is me, ViVacious Lady, but actually, I'm just Vivian. The Bible says, "A good name is more desirable than great wealth. The respect of others is better than silver or gold." God told me once that He named me before I was even born and led me to research my name in various places. Vivian means: Lively; Vivacious. Exuberant; Abounding in High Spirits and Vitality; Full of Joy and Vigor. Growing Luxuriantly; Overflowing; Lavish, Effusive; Exuberant Praise, over-flowing with Sentiment, Demonstrative; Gushing; Pouring forth and completely Fruitful! Now that describes me! Yea, that old devil gets me down sometimes, but God always bounces me back. I was born in Redwood City, California and lived there for a good part of my life on and off. I also spent a lot of my life being raised by aunts and uncles or my two sisters in a number of different states. I was married to the most wonderful man in the world for 26 years. I've been a widow for about 8 years and though I don't care for being alone or independent, I'm amazed at what I have accomplished and endured. I recently sold my home in Texas, a cute little house on 5 acres, which was a challenge that I wasn't expecting. It was so peaceful at times, but what a job with all the repairs and improvements. I'm childish and exuberant in some ways, yet realistic and wise in others. At times I'm shy, but I can sure be a silly kick. I like laughing, teasing and big hugs. I have integrity and appreciate that quality in others. I'm kind, sensitive, understanding, fair and willing to compromise. I'm old fashioned and favor the Oldies and Gospel. I'd love to sing again. I may even return to church someday where my joy in singing began. I have three wonderful children that never cease to amaze me with such wisdom and talents. They are such a comfort and so supportive, just like their Dad. I love them so much! I have a pretty slick and cute little granddaughter too... My youngest boy and his wife are having a baby this August!
My Ideal Person:
It's hard to put in a nut shell who I'm looking for. Maybe blue or green eyes, but brown is good too. Dark, medium, light or gray hair, sorta tall, average, strong, maybe thin or a few extra pounds is okay, a beard or mustache? Witty, smart, cute, friendly, understanding, not too crude or kinky, neat and organized is a plus. Willing to discuss ALL disagreements until we can come to an agreement. Honesty and openness is the key to trust, respect and long lasting happiness. Some musical talent or a nice voice would be great. Being handy around the house would be wonderful. He'd enjoy spoiling me, working in the yard together and taking trips from time to time. If he could cook, that would be heaven. Dancing isn't my gift, but I'd sure be willing to try. My dream is to spend the rest of my life with one good man, gentle but strong, responsible, honest and sincere. He'd be a friend who would be interested in my past, my future, my sorrows and my joys. He'd even be willing to put up with all my silly idiosyncrasies... I'd love my last home to be in the woods with maybe a babbling brook a little ways from town where we could enjoy the peace together.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Faith is everything. The Lord has granted me a few miracles and provided for me beautifully. I chat with him constantly even though I can't seem to get back in the church. Perhaps someone will come along that can give me the support and inspiration to do that.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Romans 8:28 - II Chronicles 7:14... Sorry, though I've read that book backwards and forwards a number of times, I've been away from it for a long time, so that's the best I can offer for now.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I think at this time, because of where I am, I would prefer a man who either loves the Lord or is at least open to Him in hopes that maybe both of us would return to His Church, where HE is in control someday. I may be a bit intimidated by someone who is really heavy into the church or too pushy right now, but then who knows how God is going to do things. HE knows better than I do about my needs and the desires of my heart.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I've grown up in Redwood City, Ca, Spring Valley, Ca, Vallejo, Ca, Columbus, Ga, Alabama, Hawaii, Grass Valley, Ca, Noxon, Mt, Richmond, Mo, Coldspring, TX and now I'm doing a lot of growing back in Richmond, Missouri. I loved Hawaii, but I'm sure its not the same, and I loved Montana, but I'm a bit more comfortable in a warmer climate now. I miss Texas!
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
When I was in the church, my husband and I both loved to serve in numberous ways. I was mostly involved in the singing ministry and kept up the music books for the team. I recorded the worship service and sermons and kept the tape library up to date. I loved worship and watching God touch people. I did a lot of the secretarial type things. I enjoy working outdoors, fixing and making things although some things are quite a challenge for me when I don't have any help.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Not really a set routine. I get up have coffee, read e-mail. If the weather's nice, I head outside and mow, or rake or work on the deck or some other project. I'll probably be painting soon. I'm not very good at sitting still, but in the bad weather, if I'm not rearranging cupboards or whatever, I'd probably entertain myself on the internet, sing or do bookkeeping.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Getting back in the Full Gospel Church and being involved in the music ministry is always on my mind, but that's a long story.
