My Ideal Person
Same as above. A tender man, submitted to God's Word as the final authority for life, doctrine, and behavior. Mature, and financially responsible. Fair. Also, it would be so nice to have a romantic man, who is thoughtful, playful, with a good sense of humor, and the provider type. Compassion and patience, and a forgiving, understanding heart. Respectful.

A leader. Someone I can follow and trust to be responsible and take care of me. A co-worker said recently that her boyfriend said to her, "I want to take care of you." Imagine! They still make men like that?!?!?

Ideally, the person would be immaculate and very organized and tidy, too. I think it is grand for one's sock drawer to be matched, folded, organized by color, and all lined up in order!!!

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
The eternal/invisible is the most important of all. Pleasing the Lord.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
"Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him." (Job) "Thy will, not mine, Lord" "He knows we are but dust" Psalm 119 Many others

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Only with God as the center of the home, can it be fullfilling and successful. Also, a believer in Jesus is not to be unequally yoked with an unbeliver.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I have mostly travelled overseas. I worked for a ministry in the late 90's and traveled to our offices there in Egypt, Cyprus, and Turkey. I have lived in England, when I attended Missionary Training College. I have traveled through Europe behind the Iron Curtain, when there was one, delivering Bibles, medical supplies, food, and clothing. I also attended a conference in Quito, Equador on understanding Missionary Kids (Third Culture Kids in general). BUT, I have barely explored my own country, and that is what I would like to do some day. I would also like to visit Nova Scotia and PEI, and Canada.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Walking. I did take flying lessons, and while I could not find a good match for a flight instructor, I would like to finish someday. I enjoy waverunners at the beach, boats, airplanes, cars, basically anything with wings, wheels, rudders, etc. I have done hot air ballooning and crewing. That flight was uneventful, compared to a winged aircraft with a motor or a jet! I also went up in a glider, but that didn't have much zing to it either! :-)

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Quiet time. Work. Errands. Dinner. Reading and TV. (I hate the TV part but it keeps me company while I eat.) Bed. and again..... I hope that having another in my life to care for will change all this.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I would love to be in full-time ministry. To be a godly woman, and continue to read God's Word to be sanctified, and mortify the flesh and worldly desires. So, do men who desire women like this join internet search groups like this???? Hmmmm.
