I am a mom, music teacher, and musician. I have three children and I am married to a wonderful loving Christian man named Sachin. I enjoy helping young people and my friends and family see their uniqueness and gifts God has made in them. Recently God has been teaching me a lot about His mercy and forgiveness towards me and I've been praying that I can extend that to others. I love my kids a lot, and I like to share with others about the joys and challenges of parenting. I like learning about other people and cultures, and have a particular interest in praying for and learning about India. I think very much like a musician, so I also like to exchange ideas with other artists and musicians.
My Ideal Person:
I enjoy getting to know a variety of people, especially people from diverse cultures and people who don't necessarily fit into the expected roles. I feel that honesty and real acceptance (and appreciation of differences) are important in friendship and fellowship. My life has taken some challenging turns over the past couple of years and God has been faithful in every step. I enjoy knowing others for mutual encouragement and mutual prayer support. I also enjoy exchange of ideas with other musicians and artists. Parenting and teaching children is a big part of my life and calling, so it's fun to share about that area of life. God has also placed in me a special love and desire to pray for India, so I am also especially interested in meeting and praying with Indians or those in ministry in India and neighboring countries.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
There is nothing more important to me than my relationship with God. I want my character and actions to reflect my faith in Jesus.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Romans 8 (whole chapter, but especially 8:38-39)Nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Phil.1:6 He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.
Eph. 2:8-10 We are saved by grace and prepared to do God's work.
Acts 2:42-47 Believers devoted to God and to one another
John 3:16-17 God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosovever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I want Jesus to be the head of our home and the center of our relationship. As brother and sister in Christ, we can share a common vision and goal of serving God together. In Christ we can also have a deeper understanding of each other and uphold each other in prayer and encourage each other in our faith.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Whitehouse, Ohio, went to college at Bowling Green State University. Lived in St. Paul, Minnesota for 13 years, and have returned to Waterville Ohio. Have seen Chicago a lot going from Ohio to Minnesota and back:) Visited grandparents in Los Angeles when I was younger.
I would like to travel overseas sometime in the future, especially to pray with and encourage and work with believers around the world (especially hope to meet Indian brothers and sisters someday).
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
My very favorite thing to do is praise God with music, especially playing my instruments with a group of believers worshipping together. I like praying with people too, praise and intercessory prayer.
I like spending time with my kids, reading and playing together or visiting zoos, museums, etc.
I also like hiking/walking nature trails. I enjoy eating out, especially at ethnic restaurants, and like cooking too (sometimes hard to do fancy stuff with my current responsibilities, though) I also like watching movies occasionally. I'm very interested in learning about other cultures and perspectives. And I always enjoy anything to do with music: performing, listening, going to concerts, etc.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
During the summer it is more relaxed and unstructured, but during the school year it's something like this:
Wake up, pray
Get kids ready for school, prepare materials for my day.
Teach private music lessons at school or home
Make dinner, help kids with homework, practice music, prepare for next day's lessons
Get kids to bed (story time is very fun part of day:) )
After kids are asleep, chat or correspond with friends including prayer partners, read Bible, occasionally watch a movie.
Pray and sleep:)
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My main goal is to love God and follow Jesus in all that I do and think.
Others (in no particular order)
I want to raise my kids in a way that enables them to learn to hear God's voice and follow Him and to be loving, compassionate people.
I want to use my musical gifts, teaching and performing as God brings opportunities.
I would like to marry and join my husband in serving God and sharing life together, praying together and sharing a common vision in Christ for our family.
I want to develop the ability to intercede for others, and to be a good friend, and to be a part of reaching the lost and broken.
God has given me a love for India, particularly for the salvation of hindus there. I want to be a part of God's work there, encouraging those that are working there, praying, and perhaps visiting one day.
