Hi and thanks for taking the time to read this. It's difficult to describe yourself, but I'll try. First of all, I am a Christian and love and have a great faith in God. I consider myself a laid-back person with a good personality and sense of humor. I enjoy doing lots of things and am always open to new ideas and adventures. I have two sons (17 and 7) and they require a lot of my time, but I do also have my free time. Their Dad supports them and has visitation with them, so they're not always with me. I am divorced after 14 years of marriage and am currently looking a great friend that could possibly lead to wherever God would have it go. I am honest, kind, caring, compassionate, a good listener and like to think I give good advice, when asked for, of course. I am very family oriented. I work full time as a secretary and enjoy my work very much.
My Ideal Person:
First of all and above all else he should be honest. Beyond that I am looking for someone who is family-oriented, since I have two sons. He should be a gentleman, kind, caring and compassionate towards others. I don't expect to have everything in common with him, as that is what makes us unique as individuals, but would like to have some common interests.
Favorite films:
Ladder 49, Along Came Polly, Bringing Down the House
Favorite musicians or bands:
Bonnie Rait, Rolling Stones, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Rod Stewart, etc.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I was saved when I was 6 years old and still remember every detail of it. My faith is very important to me as it has gotten me through some very difficult times. I've been blessed in many ways in my life - most especially by the gifts of my children. I am not perfect and have had some times where my faith has faltered, but I have always known that God was there for me and am now back on track and attending church.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
"I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." This scripture kept me going throughout all the tough times in my life. I also like 1 Corinthians 13:13 - "So faith, hope, love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love."
Love sees us through everything we have to deal with in life - it never fails us.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Without Christ in a relationship it will not last. I believe that any relationship must be Christ-centered. As the Bible states, we are not to be unequally yoked. God should be first and foremost in everyone's life. Everything else will work into place.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in NC, just outside of Raleigh. I've been to the Bahamas and several US states, but my ideal vacation would be to Ireland, which is where my ancestors are from.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I enjoy doing a variety of things. Volunteering, when I have time, camping, traveling, going to movies, enjoying nature/outdoors, many other things.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
My daily routine is pretty boring and I guess normal for most people. I work full-time so I'm gone from around 7:00 in the morning until about 5:30 at night. Then it's home to cook supper and take care of my boys, homework, baths, etc. The weekends are whatever the boys like to do and on my "alone" weekends, whatever comes up. I like being spontaneous when I can and really don't like to plan out every little detail. Whatever sounds fun is usually what you'll find me doing.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My spiritual goal is to become a better Christian every day and to build a closer relationship with God; also to become more involved in my church activities. Personal goals are to raise my boys and provide the best home and environment I can for them. Also, to be the best example I can and to hopefully, find the person God has for me.
